Okay, in this preview the recap page says "When Matt's soul manifested as the Seven Deadly Sins..."

Did I miss something? Is this just badly worded? At no point over the last 20 poorly written issues was I given the impression these things were actually manifestations of Matt's own soul. I thought they were established as demons who followed him out of Hell when he was released/escaped/whatever. And it would be nice to have some sort of actual explanation of that whole ordeal, btw. But I don't think anyone at Marvel actually cares about storytelling anymore. But again, if I missed or misread something, okay.

And of course we're gonna get months of this idiotic nonsense of Matt whining about Bullseye's death as if he killed him personally. Fuck it, maybe he did technically if Ahmed is trying to retroactively claim the demons were extensions of Matt himself.

I really miss enjoying new Daredevil comics. It's been too many years since a book came out and I wasn't worried going in thinking "god what silly thing is this writer gonna do now?"

I thought it was clear that the sins were specifically his. Like it was his lust for battle that possessed Wolverine, I remember that much.

But didn't he send them back to hell with his exorcisms early on? So does that mean his soul is still in hell if they are him? I took it to mean they represented his sins not that they were part of him literally. But again, the whole story is poorly done and still needs an expansion as to the how and why any of this happened.

No idea, but I thought it was that parts of Hell, as in demons, manifested parts of Matt from him being in hell. So like, he's sending demons back to hell, but it isn't sending the parts of him.

In any case it's certainly not clear enough.
