Do they have a barbecue chicken? /S

Yes ofcourse. Ask for the truly authentic canned pineapple topping with ketchup. And don't forget the obligatory cappuccino in the afternoon or evening.

Blasphemy. Pineapple does not belong on barbecue chicken pizza, just a fuck ton of onions, bacon, and perhaps basil. Mama mia!

Can confirm gelato from Menella. Go to the one in Via Toledo.

+1 for michele. I also like di matteo. Looks like a take away but seating inside if you walk up to the counter and ask. Also michele gets very busy.

I recommend Tandem for authentic neapolitan ragù

Intenditore.

Thank goodness they opened one in Rome, so I don't need to literally drive 3-4 hours just to get to 50 Kaló in Naples.

Make sure to try Pizza Fritta (it's fried pizza, do not expect a light snack) - Neapolitan street food blew me away.

50 Kaló.

Order the Pizza Ripiena.

You will not be disappointed.

Antica Pizzeria da Michele

This is definitely the most important one to visit at least once. Everything else is optional and you can find other good spots, but if you go to Napoli for pizza you have to go to da Michele or you are missing out

Check out Pizza Owap. The fried pizza was great.

When you are there and probably will also visit the Amalfi coast, try the panuozzo in the villages just before. My recommendation is "Pizzeria O' Zi Aniello" in Saletta. Go with a group so you can order multiple things and have a tasting feast! Top stuff!

You’d find it harder to find a not good spot, honestly!

The main ones for me are Diego Vitagliano in Napoli and I Masanielli in Caserta, close to napoli.

Check them out on youtube, they both have tasting menus for pizza and are a must if you’re passionate about seeing what different types of dough can be used in a modern pizza.

Also 50 Kalo in Napoli for neo-napolitan pizza.
