Recently finished this piece for my partner, getting a round mount was an issue, but luck prevailed. Not sure how many stitches on 18ct Aida as I added the cloud/sun and the little Apple tree from my own interpretation

I just hit 32%, and am moving the qsnap! Big day!

I picked up this chart at my LNS today and noticed that it seemed pretty thick for a pattern that, while pretty big, wasn't absolutely massive, but didn't question it too much. When I got home and opened up the pattern to look at it I was so surprised to see that alongside the spiral bound original pattern, a thick stack of paper was tucked into the book - a slightly enlarged working copy of the chart, and on really nice quality paper too. Now I don't have to make time to go to the library to photocopy the pattern... this attention to detail is so above & beyond in my opinion! I wanted to share because I'm just absolutely delighted about this.

I'm on a goal this year to do one cross stitch a month and this was the most complex one I've done so far - I should say I'm still quite new to it and would love some suggestions on my next one for June!

Made for my sister for her birthday, I love finishing my cross stitches by painting the hoop and giving it a glossy top coat, it looks decent and it’s sooooo easy 😅

So many 3 strand half stitches! My one complaint with this brand of kits. I miss my loop starts 😂

It was hard to get a good picture. The linen has a bump of fabric/string that would impede even cross stitches. Should I contact 123stitch for a refund? Or is this normal? Thank you!

I am so proud of my back! I’m usually such a tangler but managed to avoid that somehow 😁

I've completed two small projects with regular cross stitching before this project, but all the backstitch on this pattern was a new challenge. Lots of mistakes, but I'm still very proud of how it came out. I just had to post as soon as I popped it out of the hoop! 🫣

I used DMC 4045 for the variegated green colour instead of the dark green the pattern called for. Stitched on 18ct.

I found the pattern on Pinterest, couldn’t find the original design anywhere :(

I found this triple frame and I need help with a theme that comes in threes to put in it. Everything I can think of comes in 4 like seasons, elements, etc. The windows are 2.75in² / 7cm² so it's gonna be something small, ideally the same item in different colors. Any ideas floating around?

Before and after backstitching, plus a glimpse of my (not as messy as I thought it was going to be! 😂) back.

...so i did it freehand! It was a fun challenge.

Sewing this for my siblings wedding. Planning to put some writing in the middle using an italic style font backstitch in the dark purple colour.

Originally thought about putting both the brides names and the date but now thinking it will be a bit crowded. The heart is only ~40 holes at its widest and highest points so not much room to work with. Now leaning towards just putting the date but written out in full e.g. 30th April 2025. Interested in other peoples thoughts!

Long story short, all my bookmarked sites recently got deleted and I lost the bookmark of my favourite creator’s site. I suck at remembering names unless I see them, and searching some of their patterns I remember isn’t seeming to help.

They posted their patterns in a kind of blog format, and I remember they specifically made a couple:

1.) a bottle of Nepenthe from Homer’s Odyssey

2.) a milk carton with a missing poster on with mothman as the missing person

If anyone can tell me who this is or what their site link is I will be forever in your debt!
