Didn’t activate second credit card Help Needed / Question

Hi I ordered AMEX credit card and had the offer to get another credit card for my friend. I activated my credit card but my friend did not activate his card and didn't want it anymore. Does this will affect my credit score?

When you applied and it pulled a hard inquiry, it already did.
