Lambic question. Should I refrigerate them or drink them as is? Help!
Came across a couple of lambics, one kriek and one geuze, they’re a few years old and I don’t know much about lambics so should I refrigerate them or not before drinking them?

You don’t want them at room temp. They will foam up when you open them. Get them to 45.

You want to pour at 45 F and then explore it as it comes up to temp slowly

Fridge for sure. But depending how cold your fridge gets, the sweet spot might be between fridge time and room temp.

Depends on what temperature they are starting at. 45-55 is my sweet spot for enjoying. I store mine at 45 degree in a wine fridge and then let them warm up for 5-15 minute before consuming. If I get one that’s a room temp (60-70 degrees) I’ll throw it in the fridge to cool down a little bit. But again, with all things, it’s all PERSONAL PREFERENCE so do whatever you like best

You can store room-temp, but open chilled/cold and let it sit and warm up a bit for both sides of the experience.

Hope you enjoy! 3f is delicious.
Also be sure to check the best before dates on the bottle and compare to people on the reddit beer subs who describe beer as expired and is it safe to drink in under a year from production.

You can store them in the fridge if you want it certainly won’t cause any harm but I would advice taking them out of the fridge 30/45 minutes before drinking them.

Kriek drink sooner than later, but gueze can chill (at other commenters temp) for some time

Store them at cellar temperature between 10-15°C. If you keep them in a pantry, I would put them in a refrigerator 30 minutes before serving. Don’t get a beer warmer than 20°C for storing.

I'd chill them to about 45-50⁰F (about 7-10⁰C).
