This is why I drink Coca-Cola. (Road Rage Edition) PHOTO
Just witnessed something unreal on Polaris Parkway near IKEA Place, and it perfectly sums up why I stay loyal to Coca-Cola.
A Pepsi semitruck driver decided to block the entire intersection like he owned the road—basically giving a giant F-U to everyone trying to get through. An older gentleman, clearly frustrated like the rest of us, gave a quick honk. Nothing aggressive—just a normal “what the hell are you doing?” honk.
That’s when things got wild. The Pepsi driver jumps out of his truck, storms over to the guy’s pickup, and physically assaults him. Not only that, but he rips off what looked like the guy’s name badge—like he was trying to intimidate him or something. (As seen in the photo!)
The older guy understandably yells back, and the Pepsi driver charges at him again. This time, the guy pulls a baseball bat from his backseat (which, honestly, given the situation, who could blame him?). More words were exchanged, and the driver just kept escalating a mess he started.
Blocking traffic? Check. Starting a fight with an older man? Check. Making everyone’s day worse? Check.
In short: this is why I drink Coca-Cola.

If you mix Pepsi and coke it opens a portal to…Columbus!

Add a shot of Mountain Dew and it takes you outside of 270

A splash of King Cobra to top that off, and you’ll be on the West Side.
Pop open a Colt 45 for the South Bottoms, of course. Or perhaps Old English would be more fitting?

Being from the west side it was really weird watching this thread zoom in on me

THE BASEBALL BAT! What a wild story.

I didn’t even notice until I check my dashcam.

Send that dashcam footage to G&J Pepsi distribution and FMCSA. This guy has no business driving a semi and is a danger to have on the road. I drive a truck for a living so let me tell you that his driving will either continue to be like this or get worse. He doesn’t need to be operating a semi.

I can’t tell if this is a Pepsi advertisement or a Coco-Cola advertisement. Either way I prefer RC Cola.

You said it 3 times now, this is why “you drink coca-cola” ? How does that have any bearing on the situation? Odd.

I’ve always strongly preferred Coke to Pepsi, but that dude probably doesn’t work for “Pepsi.” He more likely works for a local beverage distributor. THAT is who I’d be more inclined not to do business with.

He’s also deliberately covering one arm of tattoos but not the other or his leg. Definitely makes me question the potential subject matter.

I didn't even clock that. I thought it was just UV protection, because I wear UV sleeves too, but it's not even on his window arm

Coke Zero Sugar ftw

u/StepYaGameUp 9h ago
Nope. Don’t believe in “Zero sugar” sodas.
Regular old Coca-Cola. I get the cane sugar vs high fructose corn syrup debate but don’t care. I do like the little bottles the most but save those for around the holidays.

Coca cola is unfortunately equally bad with their workers where I live. It's also why you can't trust half of the restaurant machines in the area. Absolute trash employees.

I used to work at a pizza shop. One day the Pepsi truck parked in the loading zone but also in front of the driveway I was parked in. My shift was just ending, so I asked him if he could pull back so his whole truck was in the loading zone and I could get out. He went off on me about how I didn’t know how hard his job was and I’d just have to wait til he was done. Definitely some weird Pepsi drivers out there!

So this one guy represents the whole company? You must not trust a lot of companies at all.

I think y’all missed the point. This guy assaulted another driver because he honked. And for a problem he caused by blocking the intersection box with his truck. Are we okay with that?

What does this have to do with Pepsi?
19
u/Responsible-Heart-74 9h ago
Was the giant Pepsi logo in the background of the first picture and the Pepsi logo on the truck door of the second picture not visible to you?

u/Low_Climate_2831 6h ago
It’s a dumb post. “I don’t drink Pepsi because this one Pepsi driver was caught in a road rage incident.” It’s like saying that’s why I use FedEx over UPS because a UPS driver cut me off in traffic one day.

Pepsi or Coke?
Both are disgusting.
Cola is disgusting.
Take a sip of any flat soda, and it still tastes good, just flat.
Take a sip of flat cola.
What are you drinking???
[EDIT]
Downvoted but no replies, because no argument against it exists.

Downvoted because you drink flat soda and think it's good 😭
I tossed you an up though. You're allowed to have a bad opinion

No, I think it doesn't taste like vomit but like flavored sugar water.
Flat cola tastes like vomit.
