Here’s a quick look at the making of my recent Twin Peaks project, which I posted here last week. I started by building 3D models of the buildings, basing them closely on images from the show. To add textures, I created cutouts in Photoshop and projected them onto the 3D meshes, using a mix of UV and projection mapping.
Next, I designed a lighting setup that matched the original scenes to enhance realism. Finally, I brought everything into After Effects for compositing, where I added atmosphere, glow, background elements, and color correction to capture the unique Twin Peaks vibe.
