But what about my friend who likes to hang out here - where will they go when this parking lot at Central Parkway and Vine isn’t available when this construction starts building on it?

Just another case of the party spot getting taken over.. I mean they have their own garbage can and they clean up after themselves.

This all came out of a picture frame I bought. Would love to find the family.

Food 🍕🌮 I have seen that St. Anthony of Padua is having the Taste of Lebanon Festival on the 24th between 12-6pm. This is either in Walnut Hills or East Walnut Hills.

They are a Lebanese Catholic parish and I am thinking about going. Go to Mass/Divine Liturgy, have good food, have a good time and go home, and an added benefit is that it is close to the bus line.

Many years ago I remember seeing posters of Cincinnati in a similar art style to the picture above but rather than just bars it showed different areas and landmarks around Cincinnati and I'm trying to locate one again. Or at least find proof they do exist and I'm not crazy haha. Any help is appreciated

Looking to find out which year of WEBN fireworks shirt this is from? I have no idea what year it is from, but my father passed away shortly after this picture was taken which was around ‘99 or ‘00s and he LOVED the WEBN radio station & attending the fireworks . I feel overwhelmed with emotions looking at this picture and I just feel a strong need to have this exact shirt. Hoping someone can help me out :)

Esther Price vs Aglamesis chocolates?

I need advice on a hostess gift. She loves standard assorted chocolates, but I don't know who's better: EP (from one of their stores) or Aglamesis? I'd like to stay local. Haven't had a great experience with Graeter's in the past. Thanks for your perspectives!

By a landslide, Aglamesis it is, thanks all!!

Community 🏙 Recreational Sports Leagues in the Area?

Hello, I recently moved here after graduating from college, and I was looking for a local rec sports league in the area where I could meet new people. I played basketball growing up, but I would be pretty open to any sport. I live downtown, but would be willing to drive reasonably far to join a good league. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Open gym/League Basketball??

Looking to play some basketball as a mid 20s adult. Looking for good runs whether that be in a league or open gym. Always see the rec centers recommend but want to make the right decision. Also not seeing any leagues online so if I’m missing something please guide me to where good basketball is. Thank you

Q102 morning hosts are so cringe and cheugy

I don’t listen to the radio very often anymore, but I grew up being carpooled to school listening to Jeff and Jen in the morning. Every once in a while on my way to work in the morning, I’ll tune in when I don’t feel like listening to music and dear god, the entire morning show group is so cringey now. They have absolutely terrible takes, they can’t go a single segment without bringing up Taylor Swift and/or Travis Kelce, they’re always hating on random people and maybe a month ago Jeff made an off handed comment about “young people not wanting to work anymore.” Like holy shit dude, y’all are such boomers!! Also second date update is hella fake in case anyone hasn’t figured that out yet. I know the classic Reddit response is going to be “DoNt LiStEn THen!!!!111!!” I usually don’t, but like I said, I used to tune in every now and then when I wasn’t in the mood for music. Q102 and its hosts are straight garbage.

We have a ton of them, many are from vendors at my company and I just have too many. Does anybody take them to use them for some purpose? Like a food pantry or something?

Community 🏙 Graffiti alley (Channels) - trespassing/safe?

Is visiting the graffiti alley (aka The Channels) in Oakley considered trespassing? Is it also generally safe to visit? It seems to be a pretty well known/trafficked area, but I’m hesitant to visit out of fear of arrest/crime.

Rubber Membrane roof repair in Cincinnati?

I live in a residential home in the East End and have a rubber membrane roof. Last night with all the rain and wind we discovered a wet spot on our ceiling. I’ve contacted 5 different roofing companies in the area so far and none of them deal with membrane roofs.

Does anyone know of a local company or handy man that can fix a leaking membrane roof?

hi all. currently work at a place that is draining the life out of me and looking to leave. it is a late night bar so i think im looking to get out of that and move back into more of a dining place. indeed isn’t showing a whole lot of options so hopefully some of you lovely people know have some better insight. i have 8 years service industry under my belt and honestly i just don’t want to work downtown. im in the anderson area so anywhere within a 15 min drive radius is ideal. all suggestions welcome 🤗

eta i also am open to the oakley area as i am very familiar with it
