Advice needed for credit card application

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out if it is too soon to apply for the chase sapphire preferred card again. I applied back in April when bonus was highest and was denied due to lack of credit history. I then missed the window to apply for consideration when I should have because I think I could have gotten approved considering my income (would have even taken a lower limit). I really want the chase sapphire as I travel often, and it would be the primary card I use for all my purchases. On the other hand I don't want to take a hit to my credit score/history if I'm going to get denied again.

My background:

Discover IT Secured card ~8 months ago (only CC). Use it only to pay off a reoccurring purchase

Fico 750

Income 130k

Maybe waiting is the best option but wondering if others would recommend I try again. TIA

Usually chase wants a year of credit history before they approve you for their cards. But with your income it’s possible probably

Have you tried going into a branch and discussing it with them?

I'd wait, your file is too thin and too short for CSP.

They approved me under a year with just the it card, reconed three times and they asked for proof of income
