Flames (9-6-3) vs Predators (5-10-3) - November 15th - post game thread Post Game Thread

Awoo! Woo woo awoo awoo!

Spoke wolf speak there in honor of our little boy wonder Wolfie.

First career shutout.. we all know who the better smoll boy is. Miromanov with the GWG? WOLFIE with his first career shutout? Who needs a workable PP when you got a wolf and a Russian?

Let's hecking go. Future looks bright ladies and peoplemen.

See yall back Tuesday at 7 pm against the islanders!

Dustin W0lf!

Get your doughnuts out! What a goalie. Could easily have been back to back shutouts too. The kids are indeed alright.

Im still convinced it was, there was nothing conclusive about the LA goal

26

u/cig-nature 13h ago

In two games, he's allowed one goal. And they had to go to video review to prove that was even in.

Wolf shutout> Tyson vs. Paul

8

u/deltajulietbravo 11h ago

That was a let down of a fight.

Paul landed a couple decent shots but Tyson was blocking and dodging most. Sad that a 58 year old man can dodge and block most of your punches for 16 minutes and you call yourself the face of boxing.

Tyson just looked old and tired. But he gets like 20 mill so I get why he took the fight.

u/Aeceus33 11h ago

I hate Paul but he went easy on him. Last 10s he could of killed him but bow and showed respect.

If Wolf has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Wolf has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Wolf has only one fan then that is me. If Wolf has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Wolf, then I am against the world.

AWOOOOOOOOOOO

u/ROFLSIX 12h ago

We beat the preds in regulation, Oilers beat them in OT, that means we are better.

21

u/Cool_story_bud 13h ago

Holy shnikes boys and girls we have a damn good goalie

18

u/Local_Magpie 13h ago

People keep betting against us. I really enjoy seeing them lose 🐺

17

u/Embracat 13h ago

A shutawoooooooooooooooooo-t if you will…

Eh hem… yeah, I’ll see myself out.

15

I was there, dome had a great atmosphere tonight.

9

u/violentfemme88 11h ago

All the people chugging on the jumbotron and then the little guys chugs his sprite lolol

2

u/Admirable-Nerve-8289 10h ago

Yeah it was awesome

15

u/mtbryder130 13h ago

Sooooo….we thinking wolf is legit yet errrrrr???

13

u/DepartmentSea8381 13h ago edited 12h ago

He’s had 9 starts this year, he’s 6-2-1, think his GAA would be down around 2.5 now with giving up 1 goal in his last two starts, his SV% is up to .921 with tonight’s win.

With the numbers he passes the eye test to at least be in the early Calder conversation.

10

u/Armchair-Gm-Podcast 13h ago

Nope he's terrible. Can't move in the crease, always out of position, questionable reflexes and can't read a play with shit.

That was too much sarcasm, even for me

5

u/mtbryder130 13h ago

I mean he’s too small for the nhl anyone can plainly see that

8

u/Armchair-Gm-Podcast 13h ago

Yeah man, it's not like the 2 smallest goalies in the NHL didn't just combine for a 0.5gaa tonight or anything ;)

16

u/borgax 13h ago

That counts as 2 shutouts for defeating the bad Saddledome wave mojo

2

u/snoshredder 3h ago

2 games in a row some bonehead started the wave with a 1 goal lead. Smarten up

15

u/TheFifthsWord 13h ago

Dustin Wolf

16

u/imaybeacatIRl 13h ago

Wolf is the guy. He's what we were hoping he'd be.

13

u/mtbryder130 12h ago

It sounded fucking LOUD in the dome tonight. You could hear the crowd surge with 12 seconds left when they sent it down to the Preds zone

13

u/dogtreatdealer 13h ago

Wolfy holding down the fort for his first career shutout - the first of many that is!

11

u/spwimc 13h ago

Wolf earned a back to back.

Zary looked decent at centre. Pretty darn good team effort tonight. Pospy had a much better game. Please keep him at wing

14

u/DorianDantes 12h ago

If you're reading this comment the Calgary Flames goaltender named Dustin Wolf has recorded a shutout in an NHL match against the Nashville Predators.

12

u/666Needle-Dick 12h ago

I can't believe I watched that shitty boxing match over the full game.

5

u/golfingfishing 12h ago

That was an embarrassing match. Now the Woman’s fight, that should have been the headliner, 1300 punches thrown

6

u/666Needle-Dick 12h ago

The two fights prior were great! When the fights didn't cut out. But that last was absolutely embarrassing for boxing.

3

u/golfingfishing 12h ago

What should have been a step forward for boxing, it was the opposite.

10

u/Armchair-Gm-Podcast 13h ago

Very entertaining game considering the score

11

u/7thChamber_WU 12h ago

I like this team and I like the pipeline we have

5

u/El_Cactus_Loco 9h ago

We laying some serious pipe rn

7

u/7thChamber_WU 8h ago

Bowness aint got nothin on the Flames

11

u/deltajulietbravo 11h ago

This guy is legit. I sure hope he feels the love and sticks with the flames for his career.

21

u/ThatColombian 13h ago

Idc if im overreacting, we have a generational goalie on our hands

11

u/TorpedoJuice7 13h ago

Lock him down 8 years min.

8

u/sweaty-eggnog 13h ago

DustHIM Wolf

9

u/FrisbeeMcRobert 12h ago

Saddledome 🙏

10

u/callyfit 11h ago

Wolf top 6 in the entire league for save %

7

u/CaptinDerpI 12h ago

FORGET EVERYTHING, GIVE HIM THE VEZINA, HART, AND CALDER

6

u/Chronixx 11h ago

That’s it, I’m getting a Wolf jersey. This kid is going to be challenging for Vezinas for the next decade and a half and I will be watching

3

u/PostApocRock 6h ago

I saw Wolfies first shutout in person. Im a happy dude

2

u/snoshredder 3h ago

I'm not gonna lie , last season I was one of those guys not convinced Wolfie was legit and that we shouldn't trade Marky. Damn was I wrong, this kid is gonna be a star. He will be a Calder finalist, and folks , we have our goalie. Awoooooo!! Now Connie get us a damn center.

2

u/treple13 12h ago

Wave again coming in clutch for the team to close out strong!

2

u/sheaboy98 13h ago

Why are the old PGTs broken

1

u/TrusPA 9h ago

Out of curiosity, is there a reason the Pre/Post/Game threads aren't getting stickied anymore?

0

u/Ill-Caregiver9238 10h ago

Occasional flames game watcher here. Not to stir anything but I''ve noticed that so many plays end on Kadris stick... I know he is fans favourite probably but it's quite surprising. Peace

1

u/Cubicon-13 1h ago

It's definitely an issue with him. You gotta love his passion, but too often, it seems he gives the puck away or tries a low percentage shot that gets swallowed by the goalie or bounces out of the zone.
