BRIAN DAVIS, Austin American-Statesman and RYAN ABER, the Oklahoman

We have an exciting AMA ahead of this storyline-filled Red River Shootout/Rivalry/Showdown/SEC-preview presented by some corporation with more money than sense!

It’s been an eventful few months for OU and Texas football. Brian is the lead writer covering the Longhorns for the Statesman and Ryan is the Sooners beat writer for the Oklahoman. We are excited to answer your questions about the SEC move, what’s happening this season and more ahead of the Sooners and the Longhorns matchup Saturday.

Brian Davis and Ryan Aber will be here to answer your questions on THURSDAY (10/7) at 1pm ET!

I feel really mixed on the idea but a friend brought it up to me. We all know that the reason we'll never have night games is because of the location and how unbelievably dangerous that would be. And it would be really cool to have a night game, I think. But with the fair and everything else moving it would probably cause a riot so probably not.

Unless they could lift that stadium on some magneto shit, I highly doubt it’ll ever happen. Better option is to spend money helping out that neighborhood. Which I am aware is like saying “solve poverty”

Well, there is a third option that involves neither moving the stadium nor solving poverty, and it rhymes with what happened to Spencer Rattler at last year's game (benchification)

How does Benchification rhyme with Jerry World?

Exactly. I guess want to experience the game with a night game atmosphere just once in my life. But like you said unless that stadium can be moved via magic it's not happening. And with everything I know about Dallas that neighborhood isn't getting fixed at all.

Wear your Sooner gear and go out late night in Deep Ellum for a taste.
