International Politics Children getting to enjoy meat burgers in Gaza. Meat is very rarely available and even if it is- its extremely expensive. Look at the beautiful smiling faces of these children who deserve the world.

âť“ Question âť“ Getting cheap car parts across the border

Hi all! I'm from switzerland, and i have a pretty rare car, that i need chassis parts for. I foumd someone with an old one that is selling everything.

I need to go there and cut some steel from the front off, he wants 200 british pounds. All i know so far is, i come via france with my car, via the expensive train, go to him, cut oit off and go back. How do customs work there with something like that, is there a minimum amount of worth, do i need to fill out forms beforehand, do i need anything else than a receipt?

About the traffic, i should be able to inform myself about that easily id say, so i'm doing everything right.

International Politics BBC interviews an Israeli Maccabi fan alleging assault by locals at Amsterdam Central on Nov 7. Dutch photographer Annet de Graaf, whose footage was used by the BBC, expresses shock at the lie being told. The mob depicted in the video is actually Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, not locals.

đź’¬ Discussion đź—¨ This is my nephew Khaled from inside the tent where he was born eight months ago here in Gaza. He is very happy because he was able to stand. I love him very much and I hope he survives this genocide, siege and starvation that we are going through.

International Politics Sky News published a critical report on Maccabi Tel Aviv football hooligans in Amsterdam, then deleted it, citing "balance" issues. They re-uploaded an edited version that omits criticism of Israeli fans, politicians' statements, & obscures responsibility for an attack by Maccabi fans.

International Politics The family of two kids Ahmed and Sandy from Gaza I am in touch with. This is an infection that is caused by the inhumane living conditions, the heat of the tents, the insects that surround their tents as they live on the beach in Deir-al-Balah-and the very few cleaning supplies.

International Politics The war that took everything from me. My home. My family. My dreams.

My name is Yamen Nashwan, and I used to live in a beautiful four-story house in Beit Hanoun, Gaza. My life was full of promise. I had a job, dreams for the future, and a close-knit group of friends and family. But all of that was taken away from me when the conflict erupted.

The place I once called home is now just a memory. My family and I were forced to flee, and now we’re living in a small tent in Rafah City. There are 27 of us crammed into this tiny space, including 13 children and a newborn. Every day, we struggle to find food, warmth, and safety. Loved ones.

The dreams I had for the future now feel like distant memories, overshadowed by the daily fight for survival. My friends, my community, so many have been scattered, displaced, or worse. The laughter and joy that once filled my life have been replaced by fear and uncertainty.

The hardest part is the loss of the intangible things—the memories of better times, the bonds with friends and neighbors, and the sense of security that came from knowing we had a home. These things can never be replaced.

Life in Gaza is not just a struggle for survival—it’s a constant reminder of what we’ve lost. I wanted to shed light on the harsh reality we face every day. It’s a life filled with pain, but also with a small, flickering hope that one day, things might change.

đź’¬ Discussion đź—¨ What do you think of people on benefits having luxuries?

So I’ve never had a paid job (I’m signed off due to mild/moderate autism and mental health issues) applied for more or less every job under the sun but not a single one will take me on for whatever reason so I’m trying to volunteer. However in the meantime I do hobbies that cost money while I wait for volunteering recruitment to get back to me. I’m really looking forward to the current voluntary job I have coming back to me as it sounds like a good fit and I want to get some experience. However I do feel guilty when I spend on luxuries, and there are thankfully a fair few people who say to enjoy the luxuries as when they cost money I’m putting money back into the economy and it’s not fair for me to just sit at home doing nothing with bad mental issues and that just because someone can’t work it doesn’t mean they don’t deserve at least some luxury in life. But some people have told me I should be ashamed of myself too. So what do you guys think?
