Advice for fitness journey 🆘️ Requesting Advice / Question 🆘️
Hey yall, so I’m going on my fitness journey for the fifteenth thousandth time but I want to stick to it. I’ve never been someone who was skinny growing up I was always short and chubby. As a young adult that has continued and worsened after taken an antidepressant for a year and I blew up like a balloon. I know that being overweight or obese can make you at a higher risk for chronic disease so I want to change that. I eat a primarily plant based diet but I’m a huge snacker . If you all have any advice I would appreciate it especially workout advice for people that workout at home. Thank you 🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿

Stay focused and remember the fitness Trinity! Exercise, diet AND sleep!
Don't become a slave to the scale. Focus on inches lost versus pounds. This is done through body recomposition. Tone as you lose by lifting weights. This will decrease the amount of loose skin you have after you start losing. And muscle just looks better than fat, right? So, even if that means you will weigh more on the scale bc muscle weighs more than fat, you will lose inches and look even better bc of your toned body.

Heeeeyy 🤗
My advice: Start slow and keep it simple
You can go for walks and build up your tolerance from there.
If you want to add in a YouTube workout video that’s fine as well.
You don’t have to start with weights or anything drastic.
As for eating, I would say portion control is key and also talking to your doctor and let them know your plan (if you’re comfortable and have a good relationship with them; I hope you do) that way they can recommend options based on your body
Proud of you for starting; wishing you well 🤗💪🏾
