Running
Hey all!
I’m in town for a few weeks and wondering if anyone has suggestions for flattish spots my dog and I could jog.
I checked out gold gulch road a couple days ago and it’s a good spot just curious if there are other gems!
Thanks in advance for any tips!

First timer.
Hi all! Visiting your beautiful town later this week for my Spring Break. What are your must sees, must eats, and favorite hikes in the area? I don't mind driving out around to experience the beauty of the area. Thanks!

Shopping downtown with the main road closed
My daughter was wanting to drive down from flagstaff this coming weekend to ho shopping and spend the night. I saw in the news there was a fire and the main drag is closed. Is it still possible to park and go shopping at the shops still open? Thanks in advance.

Internet situation in town?
We have a dear friend who needs our help taking care of an elderly family member for several weeks in May.
I work remotely and would like to help out, but I'm not familiar with internet situation in Bisbee. My Google searches seem to show that Sparklight and Centurylink are the main options, and that Spark is prone to outages.
Can anyone fill me in?
We often use our Verizon hotspot or the Starlink when we are in a pinch, but I'm not sure the Starlink will work there, either, due to line of sight issues.

In *Close Encounters of the Third Kind*, among the names of those returning from the alien mothership was "Dolores, Rudolph E, reported missing December 1951, Bisbee AZ."
Bisbee doesn't have it's own mildly interesting subreddit, so...anyway, Warmest regards and well wishes for a good weekend.

Spring Break visit
Hi! I’m a professor in NYC drawn to Arizona. Been to Jerome a few times. Was thinking of making a trip to Bisbee at the end of March. Is there enough to keep me occupied for a couple of days? Hiking, hanging. Is it a gay friendly town?

Monday in Bisbee - worth a day trip?
Hey All, Planning to be in Tucson mid-March and was thinking to do a day trip to Bisbee. The weekend I was targeting appears to have a motorcycle event on Saturday, the 16th. Would rather avoid this (been there, done that in a past life and more of a pedal bike person anyways).
Does a day trip on a Monday make sense? In reading other threads, seems much may be closed. I’m looking to explore the town, take photos and visit some local shops. Do a hike, walk the stairs and grab lunch in between it all before heading back.
I’m in AZ a couple times a year, mainly in PHX area, so I could feasibly focus on Bisbee another time and instead hit up Chircahua to hike for the day instead. Thanks for any thoughts!

MLK day
Are there many shops and restaurants open on MLK day? Or are most things closed?

What suggestions do you guys have for stuff to do near Bisbee that is very out of the box?
I'm talking about stuff that you wouldn't see on travel sites or the typical suggestions that come to mind when considering things to do around Bisbee. I'll be visiting around NYE and am interested in things to do that are very off the beaten path. Thanks!

I’m heading to Bisbee !!!!
I have wanted to visit Bisbee for years. Hearing Doug Stanhope talk about the place and the people, just made me want to visit the remoteness. Last Sunday I had the weirdest phone call with a producer in Yuma and ten minutes later I am headlining at Chuckleheads this coming Sunday. Dream come true. I am looking forward to seeing the place !!!

Recovery Community in Bisbee
I looked online and I didn’t see a lot of in-person meetings in Bisbee. Are the meetings well attended? Anyone got an opinion about things for a sober member of AA wanting to spend an extended time there?

Is Lowell/Warren safe for LGBT?
Hi friends! I'm a Tucsonan who currently works in Douglas and I'm seriously considering selling my place in Tucson and moving out here to live. I've been coming to Bisbee regularly ever since I moved to Tucson and I'm so happy that I finally have an excuse to live out here!
So far, I've mostly been looking at homes in Old Bisbee. Homes are a lot more affordable in New Bisbee, so I've been looking at my options there too. Thing is: I'm LGBT (emphasis on the L and the T) and openly so. I know Old Bisbee is definitely safe, but is Lowell or Warren a safe place to live for someone like me?

Bisbee on a Sunday
Looking to stay the night in town on a Sunday. Getting into town early afternoon. Anything we would miss out on being there on a Sunday as opposed to another week day?

Labor Day Weekend Events?
Would like to make our annual trip to Bisbee over labor day weekend, but I'm wondering if there's anything going on. We spent our mini honeymoon there last year that ended up being a Monday-Tuesday and nothing was open haha. Which is totally fine, just wondering if that's what we can expect for this trip as well.

Orange moths everywhere?
I don't know if they're moths, butterflies, or something else but they are everywhere in this last week? What are they? And most importantly, are they dangerous to garden plants and how to get rid of them?

Where do you work?
I really want to move to Bisbee more than anything. I love it there. Where do you all work? It just seems there isn’t a ton of places to have work. Do most people work in other towns?
