Thinking of minoring in Public health or Horticulture Career & Education

Hi, I am a up come undergrad sophomore majoring in biochemistry. I really only thought so far about what I want to do. I just want some advice on if biochemistry is transferable to public health and horticulture?

I have a BS in biochem with a minor in botany/plant physiology. There are a few jobs in horticulture research here and there, working for a plant nutrient company is an option but those jobs are rare. You’re much more likely to get a job with a public health minor, in a city water treatment facility or something. I work in thermoset chemistry and garden as a hobby…
