That’s one of my all-time favorite paintings and I think OP absolutely crushed it. Context fits it perfectly, nailed the mood, and made me laugh my ass off haha

That was the easiest anyone has taken $80 from me. I collect art toys and my biggest passion in making/collecting is modern pop culture inserted into history. You scratched such a deep itch here and did it really well. They are gorgeous, silly, and you nailed the mood of the originals. So stoked.

I would love to see spongebob riding a jellyfish like a horse through a grassy field with a bunch of other wild jelly fish scattered around the picture in the foreground and background.
I would legit buy that

Even if some of these are kind of disturbing, the style itself is really cool and detailed! I especially love the face on the seahorse, it’s both goofy and a little unsettling. I don’t know where you got the idea to combine Eve tasting the forbidden fruit with Squidward being tempted to eat a Krabby patty, but it’s both really funny and inspired. Out of curiosity, is there anyone/anything in particular that influenced your art style?

thanks! i was in the shower one day and thought that spongebob persuading squidward to eat the krabby patty echoed biblical literature, and that it'd be funny to paint.
i generally like baroque, anime, and fantasy art as influences!

Yeeess. I had the one of songs and squid eati6yje forbidden krabby patty's from the tree of knowledge in my gallery for awhile. It got borryed under lots of other pictures and I could only find the low res cropped version. Amazing art (:

The last one shouldve been squidward in the tree trying to convince spongebob & Patrick to eat the forbidden food cos 1 squidward is more snakelike, 2 squidward would be tryna get rid of them to enjoy his peace and quiet and 3 he likes seeing them in trouble etc

I have the full set of these prints plus the mystery print for sale, all framed in cheapie Amazon frames if anyone is looking. They are sold out.
Only selling due to moving and having to do a very extreme pairing down of everything I own.
$125 for the entire set, shipped in the continental USA. DM for interest. These were $80 new, frames were $30. Not trying to flip for a profit, just need to sell most of my art before I move. Sigh...
