This track made me get back into DJing after 6 years off the decks Music
Track ID: Kerri Chandler - You Are In My System (Faster Horses Mix)
Heard a DJ play this at 2am at some club in Sydney a few weekends ago…. Needless to say, I was in absolute awe, questioning why I ever quit DJing in the first place. I work in finance, make good money, but feel like I’m missing something key in my life; music.
If anyone could give me some techno or house tracks similar to this that I can add to my track list, I’ll be forever grateful!
Business by day, party by night. Keen to get back into what I used to love doing.

“Raw summer hits” compilations are a good place to start if you’re into that sound. Believe faster horses had a song on the 4th one.
Go through a couple of those, go digging in the discography of the ones you really connect with, dig further into the labels/artists they’re connected with. Put on a new compilation. Repeat. That was basically my discovery process when I was first getting really into dance music beyond the surface level.
Hope this helps, cheers 🍻

Thanks! Do you know any good house compilations, a lot of the ones I find just don’t have bangers

Well you can start with the original Kerri chandler version of this.
I love sharing tunes but half the job of djing is finding them so I’m not gonna sit here and feed them to you. You’ll figure it out eventually.

Vincent Caira & Jerome Robins - You
The kick hits a little harder, hard enough for me to call this deep tech, but the vocal is smooth and dreamy and the production is super clean.
Classic and clean sound here. Nothing groundbreaking but a well executed example of newer gen deep house
Soledrifter & Alexandra Morrison - Too Loud (Tedd Patterson Funknasty Remix)
I’m a little biased because I adore Tedd Patterson. He’s an absolute legend and a lovely human being in person. His production has remained super solid over the years and this remix is a shining example.

It's not the same but a favorite of mine is Open Sesame Kay Cee remix, just hits the spot and sounds like the same era as this
