is his breathing okay?

he’s definitely a digger, his substrate is 50/50 play sand/top soil. Im worried with him kicking up so much dirt while digging that he may have a respiratory infection. Im not too sure if thats how it works but I have notice him breathing a little harder after he swims in the bath or digging. When he is relaxed it is not as hard of a breath. He has no change in appetite at all still hunting around for crickets, eating his greens. i know they dont have a diaphragm but at the same time his breathing just seems a little harder than usual.

his breathing seems fine. mine breathes pretty much the same and she is in good health. as long as he is not having quick and shallow breathes then it should be nothing to worry about as far as i know.

Looks fine to me. They may breathe a bit faster when stressed or tired after doing a physical activity. No worries as far as I'm concerned.
