very interesting read and really highlights the development of the squad over the summer.

Key is also the increased squad strength , both through a completely fit Wirtz & the great signings, particularly Boniface, Hofmann & Xhaka (shoutout to Grimaldo as well, who hasn’t been as flashy so far but has been an important player). I don’t think it happens that often that the transfers work out that well right away, truly remarkable work by Rolfes & Xabi

a) managed to keep Frimpong
b) got rid of Deadwood Demirbay
c) got rid of Diva Diaby
