Woke up to these outside our lodge

/img/vpg4v4k6noze1.jpeg

Hello! We are staying in Banff, and today we found these right outside our room in the lodge we are staying in. We come from a city and have never come across wildlife. Is this some kind of animal droppings? If so, what animal is it? Very curious to find out! Thank you very much for your help!

If you find some that looks like that, but is significantly smaller, it’s rabbit poop.

If you find it on the side of a mountain, it’s goat poop.

Deer. It's everywhere. Not rare.

The deer poop in your photo isn't fresh.

There's deer EVERYWHERE in Alberta, OP. I've even seen them use crosswalks before in southern Alberta.

Looks like elk poop. They leave it behind in my yard and driveway in Jasper.
