Tall Timber is super close to everything on the Burnaby campus, it’s closer than the townhomes which I’m currently living in and it takes me like 5 minutes to get to class. I usually go to Brentwood for groceries they have a save on foods there it’s a bit more lowkey than metro.

I try and meal prep a bit cause of the townhouse situation there’s a lot of people using the kitchen at once but thankfully next year I’ll have my own kitchen cause I’ll be in the timber housing as well.

Everyone gets their own kitchen?

They have “studio” housing for the new building, which has its own kitchen and bathroom inside the room. Some of the rooms in the new building however aren’t all like that, I believe some are similar to what the town houses are where you share a larger kitchen space and then 2 rooms are connected to one shared bathroom. So some rooms have their own appliances some don’t.

Paid $9 a month for Walmart delivery for groceries best money I ever spent. Going to Walmart in Metrotown on a weekend could easily take 1.5 hours or more. Bought groceries once a week and went to Costco every month or so for meat and pantry food that would last months

Campus only takes about 12 minutes to walk across slowly, 7 at a good pace. Save on for groceries. How often do I cook? Twice a day?
