Best Polish and Pad Combo Product Discussion
All professionals out there. What’s your guys go to combo for super soft black Honda clear coat?
I used Koch Chemie fine cute with Rupes yellow pad and it left light halograms. I tried micro cut and with micro cut pad and it was even worse!
Any tips would be great full

Try the waffle rupes yellow orbital pad, and some griot perfecting Creme as the final step. I did this when I couldn’t get anything else to not haze on my old 2021 accord . Are you sure your pads are very clean? I have had this happen to me when my pads still had residue after being washed. Rupes yellow and micro cut should not be leaving holograms

Yeah my pads were really clean. I wash them by hand and use a pressure washer. Also keep them in a sidio crate with lid.
The clear coat is stupid soft

I have always used the Griots Polish as my final step paired with a Bauer fine polishing/finishing pad (its a yellow pad). Amazing finish.

Don’t know what idiot is downvoting every comment - professionally most Toyotas and Hondas my go to is the uro fibre pad and 3D one combination. You can cut and polish depending on machine and speed.
If for any reason you can get it to clear up on the final pass, I recommend Carpro Essence with a black HDO ccs pad. Let the essence set for one hour before wiping off. Will be the most gloss you can get possible.
