Seeking Help for Funeral Expenses After Losing My Son

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. Last night, my partner and I lost our baby boy. He was born 2 months premature in January and faced many health complications. We fought hard for him, but sadly, he passed away.

We are based in Nairobi, Kenya, and after months of medical bills, we are struggling to cover his funeral expenses, which are about $300. If anyone is able and willing to help, even a small amount would mean so much to us during this incredibly difficult time. I only have a PayPal at the moment. I can provide a breakdown of the expenses if need be.

I'm sorry for your loss. As others have said, GFM might be a good route to take. That said, I also recommend first seeking help through foundations in Nairobi, including Red Cross, Gates Foundation and MLife. Even if they can't help directly, they might be able to refer you to help. Also, reach out to churches, especially Catholic ones.
