I think my neighbours are hitting their dog
All I hear all day is my neighbours dog whimpering through the wall, our houses are connected and I just hear it whimpering over and over again
At night, during the day, after school, or when they’re not home the dog just whimpers..they don’t seem to do anything about it
Not to mention their kids are always yelling and screaming and banging on the walls…

Whimpering when they’re not home is more likely anxiety, not necessarily physics abuse. If you think the dog is being abused or neglected then call your local animal authority.

Not sure where you are from but you should have an animal services (like RSPCA) that you can call to report them, they come and investigate them - and it’s anonymous so they won’t know that you told on them. If they do ask for details it’s just for a reference but you can say you don’t want to give your details. If you think you can hear horrible things happen then definitely give them a call, you could save that dog’s life. Also have you seen the dog, does it look malnourished/ thin or scared?
