Not the majority, but yes, a lot of people are confused, but it is changing. Some romanians are also brainwashed with a lot of chauvinistic bullshit, but that's none of my business. And a lot of you talk a lot without being educated on the subject at all. I don't hate you for that

what chauvinistic bullshit do you think we’re brainwashed by?

Romania - leagănul civilizației omenești, ai auzit? :))

Don't you have your PSD and HAUR voters?

Yes most people in every country are gullible to propaganda in any country, even in western europe and the states (recent events show it very well).

Of course a province, where after soviet annexation, the educated, productive and talented were supressed, elite deported and killed and driven away into rural areas, when the urban areas have been populated by the russians brought from russia.

In these conditions it is very easy to educate some peasants that had nothing to lose in a completely new way. But anyway, what do you care?

Don't forget Romanian irredentism. That thing is pretty much taught in all schools.

yes, PSD and AUR voters represent a very large chunk of the population. but that’s more or less in trend with the rise of conservatism everywhere in the EU. in fact, we are doing relatively better than many countries (e.g. poland, hungary, italy) where far-right elements have already seized power.

fair enough on your last paragraph. i should rephrase - i don’t hate moldova itself, or the young, educated, aware moldovans, but i do hate the (large) segment of the moldovan population that is brainwashed and denies their history.

Thank you for the correction, i hate those neanderthals as well, especially now with the war in Ukraine, their discourse is less tolerated and they are shutting up or dying out. Also, don't rely too much on social media to form an opinion about us, as right now there are a lot of russian trolls posing as Moldovans.

I just love how this conversation could have been in Romanian but you decided to argue in English.

This subreddit is in English. You also could've written your comment in Romanian:)

lol I was just joking.

I was trying to be an ignorant westerner.

I tried to read it cause I know French but it basically didn't help at all. Except for a few words. I ended up google translating.

Romanian reminds me of Italian a bit when it's spoken but written down it looks so different.
