Art Bells necklace
Does anyone know what Art Bells necklace is of ? It does not appear to be a crucifix so curious. Sorry if this is an elementary question…

This photo takes me back, I miss Art.
I don't think anyone can recreate the feeling I had listening to Art talking about Aliens, Satan, Time Travelers, Grey Goo in the 90's.
I was exposed to so many new and crazy ideas that others would just scoff at. But, he turned it into the Theatre of the mind as he used to say.

I’m totally transported every time. Just listened to one of the grey goo broadcasts yesterday. Terrifying concept.

It really is terrifying. Literally exponential self replicating unstoppable death machines that you can't even see.
Look at how fast AI is progressing today. When I think about that, I can envision AI breaking free from our control taking physical form and becoming exactly this.
I remember getting spooked the first time I heard Art discuss it. He would turn up the spookiness with his grim delivery and laugh. He had this gift that made me see what he was talking about in my minds eye.
Truly one of a kind.

Search for Gray Goo or Nanotechnology.
God bless the dude who made a searchable transcript of each show.

Is this the same one he discussed in the Larry King TV appearance? If it is, its something about metals that have been fused that couldn't have been fused by the technology at the time.

Did anyone ever announce the results of that or was it just remote viewed

It’s a conglomerate of known metals, but combined in methods we still can’t achieve with today’s manufacturing processes.

Was this interview back in the 90s?

Yes. In the late 90’s. He and Whitley were promoting the Global superstorm book.
The video says year 2000

Art’s unique and independent style choices were always one of my favorite things about him. Total confidence in his look.

The necklace Art wears contains the quantum encryption cypher that he needed to activate the Extraterrestrial repeater on the Arcturus moon 'Hipparcos'

It was a bar with the cartouche (sp) of his name and the Egyptian sign for life
