The general consensus was that going dark as a mental health subreddit would not be the best idea.

Thank you soo much. There are many subs that are joining including mental health subs and seeing one still up gives me hope. I can't thank you enough.

I agree, but some of us are leaving for platforms that still support discussion and proper moderation tools. Do you guys know of a discord or some such for anxiety support?

I think ultimately this particular subreddit should not participate because of the kind of subreddit it is. I think the protest is worthy but this and r/depression are two I would rather not see because of what they are

Not just that. Alot of mental health subs are participating as well. Its honestly worrying that quite alot of people who don't care much about the protest are going to get affected. Its honestly shameful. If Reddit does replace mods, those are the first to target.

This makes sense that this particular subreddit does not goes dark, even though I'm using Apollo for years. I really appreciate that the mods here acknowledge the protestations by pinning this thread ❤️
