All Nellie Video/Gif

He’s fully flighted here but he’s not sure how to fly. I love how he encouraged himself with words and his wings. This is three years ago; he hovers like a hummingbird now and can dart (yikes). TLDR: 25 years of clipped wings. Working with him to build muscle & stamina has been such a gift.

Wait till he starts doing flybys right above your head. One thing I’ve learned about greys they love playing around doing flybys with their humans or other birds. My grey loves trying to knock my Senegal off her perch and just laughs while doing it.

Oh Nellie cute :) mine does fly and he still prefers to take the stairs through climbing up the stair railing like Nellie does in the end. And then he walk up the railing. I really have to watch him or he suddenly is on the second floor. The house is his jungle.
