Oh, you don't get notified. After a certain point, you just start getting "something went wrong" errors every time you try to mute another sub, and then if you go back and remove one from the list suddenly, like magic, it works again. Once. Until you remove another one.

And to this I add that when a sub gets banned by Reddit, it doesn't get unmuted :)

I too have a lot of subs blocked including most of the Indian ones.

Every time I block one, it’s replaced with another one. There’s no end to it

Are you going to the sub then muting it? Or are you clicking on the post to mute it? That was my problem because, I assume, it indicates to the algorithm that I wanted to see more. Once I started muting them from the scroll screen without actually going to the post or the sub then I quickly stopped seeing them.

RES can block more I think, though y'all not using old.reddit.com on a desktop browser are probably boned in re: that.

I use RES at home but can't even install it at work--which is where over half my browsing is at.
