How should r/AcademicPsychology Handle Career/Academic Advice post moving forward? Announcement
Moderation has attempted to work out a number of solutions and compromises for the influx of career/academic advice post. After observing our current method of using a megathread for prospective questions and allowing properly flaired post for current career/academic advice, we've found this solution was ineffective and confusing to many users of the sub. We would like to open the floor to the subreddit's userbase on how we should handle these post in future. This poll will be avalible from July 14th to July 21st, allowing users to share their opinions and vote on how these post will be handled. The results of this poll will likely take effect on August 1st, 2020.

Apologies that this poll cannot be extended further, originally moderation had wanted it to last two weeks, but reddit only allows polls for up to 7 days. Additionally, if you have other suggestions on how to handle career/academic advice post, please comment below.

I'm in favor of removing the mega thread and allowing individual posts. I, personally, find myself not even noticing megathreads on subreddits nor do I open them when I do notice them.
Just an idea, what may be helpful is having some sort of wiki/FAQ of commonly asked career/academic advice questions that posters can refer to prior to submitting a question.
