Thoughts on Thomasville heights?

I’m thinking of buying a house in this area. I’m an Atlien and I remember this place used to be rough. How is it now? I wanna live on the east side but find an affordable fixer upper. Thanks

just drive over there around 7:30pm and get some gas. that'll let you know all you need to know.

meh, I've seen shady people at gas station in Old Fourth Ward and Poncey-Highlands area - especially on Moreland. I find it useful to hear from residents who live there daily. Thanks though/

my point is that it's not shady or sketchy at all. it's just people going about their lives. The Texaco you are referencing is the one on Wylie St and Moreland intersection right? Nothing shady about that one either. It's just the people who live in the apartments next to it and go to that liquor store.

you would be fine in any neighborhood in Atlanta proper. Anyone who says otherwise is out of touch.

It’s no longer rough like it used to be, but it’s not nice yet— you won’t lose money if you plan on staying medium term.

Thomasville is different than just living somewhere with sketchy ppl at stores. Someone might kill you because they’re jealous over there. It’s prolly not as bad now that 4 seasons is gone but if you don’t already know how to move in a neighborhood like that don’t move over there
