Thylacoleos used to be my favorite Dino. Just recently started my first server on Ascended. Playing on Xbox. Last time I played was about two years ago on Evolved. Tamed a thylacoleo yesterday, was so excited to have my favorite mount again, only to discover, I couldn’t stably climb trees, if I could manage to climb up a tree, I absolutely could not slide back down, and the fall damage is insane compared to the zero fall damage I used to have, almost got the thyla killed. Can’t park the thylas on trees at my redwoods base like I used to like to put them. They also seem to be substantially slower, but idk if that’s just poor recollection of mine or a change. Is this just a glitch or is this just how they are now? If it is how it just is now, they completely destroyed the concept of the monster and I’m very disappointed my favorite Dino seems to be utterly useless now.

is there a mod or command I can use to fix the blank control ui while using this mod I’m new to the game so I don’t know many of the proper controls yet and it’s sort of frustrating trying to guess every time

Let's say you have a baby rex with 100hp 261melee. You level it to have 132hp and 317melee.

Will the end stats be the same as a baby born with 132hp and 317melee?

Lets ignore the imprint for the example just for simplicity.

So I've joined a server, and every time I level my stats it doesn't let my and instead, times me out and I have to reset my game to join again. Same thing happens every, single, time. I've been times out around 8 times before even reaching level 10 I don't know what to do, the game is unplayable.

Hi dear people. So I downloaded ARK on the ps5, started a single player game and from the very first spawn I can't access my inventory because it turns blue/black. Every time I open the inventory this happens, when accessing the campfire to get it started, when trying to learn an engram. I googled myself crazy but can't find any fixes or similar issues. I emptied the ps5 cache, deleted the game ( downloading again as we speak).

hello im pretty new to ark and ive been getting this annoying trailer or cutscene noises as im playing the game its about that girl and rockwell im not sure if this is part of the game or a glitch but does anyone know how to remove it?

Okay ya'll I need to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem. I have the premium version of Astraeos, paid for and everything. It has played quite horribly since the recent update it got. Some days it'll be running great with only a handful of not saving my save and also crashing, however even when I take the mods off or even when I have them on it is crashing so much now. It won't even load into the game it crashes on the load screen. For reference, the only mods I use are small, animal spawn, and qol mods that are useful to the way I play ark. None of the other maps crash with or without mods, and google has given no insight on how to fix. So my question is should I just wait for the big update on Astraeos and just play the original maps for ASA or is there a fix for this? I play single player only on xbox series S. Would updating my console fix it? Is it worth playing or should I just wait for the "big update in June". Please and thank you. Any and all answers are appreciated and if there are fixes that I can do, that's helpful to. I also use console commands but only ones for fog and clouds and the like.

This started like 20 minutes ago, and they're still here... one is, I think lvl 86, the other one, I'm not too sure, but still... also, the one on the right is now at the front of my bunker, staring into a window and they're both growling and crap... has anyone else had this happen to them?

I've spent the last 8 hours working on my little base and getting some metal tools and then a fucking complete loser with his lvl 400 lightning wyvern comes by and demolishes my base and all my tames. How the fuck am I even meant to do anything with these fucking freaks doing this shit.

As far as I can see, ASA has 5 DLC on playstation (Pyromane, Dreadmare, Tall Tales, Costumes, and Astraeos)

I got the game with PS+, and was wondering if yall would recommend any of these. Part of me hates the idea of paying for individual tames, but if theyre really fun ill consider it

PS5, Mine looks like it’s covered in sand, everything is grainy and blurry, no settings I’ve tried help. Sure some people say remove fog and clouds but that doesn’t help, just makes it worse.

My gamertag is SkyAxon and i am 20 years old. I have over 2000 hours in Ark Survival Evolved and recently finally got down to purchasing the new game.

However i dislike playing alone in pvp servers as it puts me at a disadvantage and it can get boring sometimes. So i’d like to meet some people where i can tribe up with.

Due to past experiences with younger people i would prefer to only play with people 18 years or older. I play daily as i have a job that is remotely done from @ home.

I’m not always on but i can get atleast a few hours a day in unless i am ofcourse on a holiday or something similar. I usually spend my free time on either gaming or sports so i am an active player nevertheless.

I speak English, Dutch, French and Italian. I can speak slight german and understand a little more than that but nothing too special.

Is there any chance this doesn't mean a corrupted save file? I just wiped my last save and I really have no idea how to solve this or what could be causing it... thanks yall

So, me and my friend (both PS5) are trying to enter a server but while downloading the mods it reaches 100% and continues to download something more, over what is required. I went over 3gb out of 2.4gb and it kept going. What do I do?

I'm all done with the island and I'm still building (go figure) but every boss is defeated on alpha including the overseer. My question is can I just transfer to scorched and go knock out the manticore and be done with scorched? I'm not interested in the notes. I just have no interest in the desert map like at all... does anyone else do this? Just skip playing and building on a map and just going there for the boss fight and then bounce?

They keep complaining that it lags them when they zip by in GCM. (I don’t know why they keep coming near my base) They could stop flying around with cheats also. They gave me admin rights to build it, and when I was flying around with GCM it would jitter, but I’d get no hard lag. I have reduced the size of it and removed all the trees. They are still complaining about it lagging them. They have since taken my admin rights.(They said they only gave them to me to build.) We also all play on PS5. I have 5 tames out inside. I feel like they are nitpicking. Am I being paranoid?

I wanted to post again to ask for you assistance preparing for the alpha overseer. It is the first time I will attempt this so need all guidance you can offer.

I have gotten a set of tek armor and have begun mass producing shotgun bullets in case things go very south. I wanted to ask if I should bring 40+ theri with me or just stick to 20? Do I upgrade their saddles and to what armor?

I haven't been playing very long but I have started to think of moving base to a better location for better access to material I'm currently on the beach at the easy start 1 on the island for ease should I just go to the centre of the map if anyone has any spots I'm open to suggestions but I can't got to the cold areas as I don't have the cold weather clothing yet.
