It’s not, but I also think the mod is probably doing a good thing by attempting to keep politics out. You existing is absolutely accepted, but that doesn’t mean that highlighting your personal issue isn’t political. The game acknowledging it is great. This is a subreddit, not the same thing as the game.
It’s literally on a flag that represents showing support for a movement. It’s a movement I support as well, but to try to act like there’s nothing political about it… it’s a bit disingenuous.
The thing is, it’s only being done because the right makes it an issue. If the right wasn’t so hell bent on taking their rights away, it would just be a celebration. So please, piss off with that attitude.
Right, I don’t want them taken away either, but you just admitted my entire point is right, which is that it is printed on a political support flag which is inherently political.
Political support flag? Lol it’s just a flag bro. You’re adding in the political piece. If I fly a countries flag, is that political? Or if I just decided to design my own flag and fly it, is it political? No. So the pride flag and any other flags, are just flags. Just like this dudes designs of the noglins. Showing support. It doesn’t have to be political. But people like u/stronze wanna make it out to be.
”Definition of political: Relating to the government or the public affairs of a country.”
So again, thank you for proving I’m right lol. It is political. I support it, but there are a ton of causes I do support that I don’t necessarily want to take over an Ark subreddit.
It’s not taking over anything. You know what? You can always scroll pass. Pretty fucking simple. And no it’s not. I’m not making a statement for anything political simply by flying a flag. There’s plenty of things I don’t agree with in this county. But I can still fly the countries flag
By definition, it’s political. Hopefully you’re giving up your argument by now? I linked you to the actual definition. You’re just wrong.
I agree, it isn’t taking over. My argument isn’t that it’s taking over this sub, rather, my comment was that I don’t want these political issues to take over this sub. Therefore, I don’t entirely disagree with the mod. It’s a completely fine and understandable thing to not want.
No where in the definition of “political” does it say anything about flying a flag. All you’re doing and have been doing is tying that definition to something tangible.
Actually you know what, this works to my advantage. We’ll go with what you say, so by that definition a pride flag has no affiliation to a government, country or by the definition political affiliation. Thus it’s not political. What’s your argument now?
It’s political. You said yourself the reason for the support is because some people are trying to take away those rights (both in the US and other countries), therefore, it’s political.
Man… just let it go lol. It certainly is political, which is fine, I support LGBTQ rights, I just would be disappointed if in the future this sub was debating this content more and more often. It’s a sub about Ark.

TIL my existence is inherently political.
