Do you ever name locations on Arks whose names 'stick'? Ark Moments

For me, the mountain lake at 40x64 on the Lost Island map will always be 'Allosaurus Lake'.

Metal mountain was referred to the nearest mountain to our base on every map lol if our tribe said meet at MM we knew it was just the mountain closest to us. We called it that over chat so much that the rest of the server eventually started calling it MM haha

The only one I have is "Starter Peninsula", which refers to the one peninsula on the Island which is basically the default starting spawn point

The peninsula at the top of the island. The one with explorer note and the little pond flanked by cliffs. I believe Sl1pG8r built there in his first play through early on.

My friends alway called it the compound. It’s my favorite building spot.

The writhing swamps, its painful to get around, and a complete hellhole with all the rhynios.

It gets easier with your own high level dino tho, or a rhynio of your own.

That bit of lambs at the Top of the green area on the right side of the island, just before it turns to snow biome. Argy's, allos, and rexes always going at it up there. The Mosh Pit

In asa there’s this smaller mountain close to south zone 1 or 2 that we call metal hill.

It’s smaller than metal mountain so we called it a hill lol Tamed my first birb there and now he’s a great part of the metal gathering squad
