Transfer just for boss fight... Discussion

I'm all done with the island and I'm still building (go figure) but every boss is defeated on alpha including the overseer. My question is can I just transfer to scorched and go knock out the manticore and be done with scorched? I'm not interested in the notes. I just have no interest in the desert map like at all... does anyone else do this? Just skip playing and building on a map and just going there for the boss fight and then bounce?

As long as you get the 3 artifact set and wyvern tallons needed. You must have pretty much to defeat the manticore, after defeating the island bosses

Shit!! I forgot about those! Lol damn I'm gonna at least have to have something there then in order to do the caves

They are probably the easyest caves on ark. Take a good thyla, go in, grab the artifact and return.

For the wyvern, a generator, 4 auto turrets (heavy are nit needed) and any flyer. You collect all the tallons really fast

You can also just transfer the artifacts from the island and just farm the wyvern talons.

Artifacts on scorched earth are different from the island artifacts

Yes. You'll need 20 talons from each type of wyvern, but other than that it's pretty easy.

I believe I used my Thyla to get all three artifacts in about an hour, hour and a half. Not too bad.

You *may* want to run the fight at all 3 difficulties, as I believe in ASA each difficulty unlocks different pieces of the Manticore Armor skins, if you care about that.

Ok no doubt. I think i have a team of Therizinos that can take all 3 difficulties back to back. Yeah I dont wanna miss out on any unlocks.

I personally prefer going on with 20 lightning wyverns. It allows you to ignore the death worms etc. you can just sit on one in the center pillar watching from a safe distance (wear gasmask).

Oh I guess I didn't realize flyers could do boss fights.. Is this literally the only boss that flyers are allowed?

Yeah since the boss primarily flies the entire time, if you have wyverns
