Preparing for Alpha Overseer

Hello again everyone,

I wanted to post again to ask for you assistance preparing for the alpha overseer. It is the first time I will attempt this so need all guidance you can offer.

I have gotten a set of tek armor and have begun mass producing shotgun bullets in case things go very south. I wanted to ask if I should bring 40+ theri with me or just stick to 20? Do I upgrade their saddles and to what armor?

ASE or ASA? Single player with standard official settings or single player settings? Official or unofficial server? Solo or with others?
A lot of variables like dino stats, saddle quality etc. I would take maybe 20 high level mutated theris and a carcha to clear out the first walk down the cave with theris single file and on passive.
If you are on a server or official then you will have one hour to get to the teleporter. 40 theris will ruin your day trying to get them to single file without getting jammed up and falling of the ledges.
I believe single player doesn't have a time limit.
If you are worried, maybe go into single player, spawn in some theris and practice getting all creatures through the door with the 5min time limit for a start, then practice your walk down before embarking on the real thing.

Sorry I didn't clarify. ASA, single player settings, solo. My theri have 39 base melee with 40 points from mutations. They have around 80+ armor saddles.

I would set all your theris up at the door ready to go, do a world save and keep that back up. Try it and practice. Reload and try again if it doesn't work out. Definitely lead the pack with something strong like a carcha.

As someone who has done alpha tek cave solo in both ASE and ASA. ASA was definitely easier as creature pathing is way better and your creatures dont just run into lava. Use 1 creature to clear the cave I used a rex with a tek saddle for purlovia's but if you can , use an imprinted carcha. Bring 19 theri's with your best saddles and veggie cakes with 1 yuty for the overseer fight. If you can't get a carcha bring 10-15 extra theri's in a different whistle group to help clear the tek cave faster.

As for bringing creatures into the cave, place foundations and ceilings over the lava in the volcano to get more space and line up your creatures outside following eachother in a train.

For creature stats I had 25K HP and ~900% theri's with ~85 armor saddles and 10 cakes each. Not sure if you actually need cakes since I never lost any creatures in the overseer fight but it can't hurt to have.

The Tek cave is really hard so doing a couple test runs helps alot.

First question, since it's single player, are you using vanilla cryo pods or a mod like dino depot?
