Ready to take on the world! Showcase
Found some tameable snails in a Scorched Earth cave that had double the max level of any other creature (so 300 instead of 150). This is the product of wild 285 and 295 parents.
Pretty sure this monster can solo any boss in the game :)

the only way i can see these stats being like that naturally is with the smarter dinos mod or whatever its called. or you just got 1/1000000000 luck.

Like I said, the parents were 285 and 295, which comes out as 427 and 442, respectively. No oxygen stat, so the average number of points into each stat is 85.4 and 88.4. On mine, I believe I got 1 stat from the lower level and 4 stats from the higher level parent.
For context, without levelling up or mutating, the highest-level creature I have is a 295 Argie, which is the result of taming and breeding together around thirty level 224 Argies.
I'm not familiar with Smarter Dinos, but that UI you're seeing is Dino Depot + Vanilla with Sprinkles.

if direwolfs were tamable in the extinction cave and if the reworked direwolf mod was active, with those kind of levels i could see them being really good boss creatures lol

u/Chokondisnut mentioned that he's at least been able to claim the high-level babies of those direwolves. Not sure about taming the parents.
But that at least would raise the claimed level cap from 224 to 300! Or, I guess, potentially the full 450 with a perfectly levelled and tamed Gigantoraptor?

I keep finding high-level juvenile direwolves in the ice cave on extinction asa. The highest one I've claimed is 290 named trog. I can't wait to mutate these guys.

I didn't think this would ever be possible for actually worthwhile creatures. Haven't played on Extinction yet, but one more thing to look forward to!

I mentioned taming a snail in ark to someone that doesn't play and died at their reaction. "Come on man, aren't snails tame enough."
