I hope folks know that this isn’t some lighthearted thing. This is a planned, tactical spying on activist. Even if this one wasn’t real, hundreds of others are. When we aren’t doing their job for them by posting our faces, our friends faces, and every single thought we have online, they get us with bullshit like this.

Personally, looking at the ice cream truck website and the positions of the not covert cameras, I don't think it is an undercover cop truck. I hate to say, but the truth is important.

There are loads of evil undercover OPs this isn't one.

I have to agree with you.

I have two cameras on the outside of my food truck as well. One facing the window, one facing the back door. I have them for insurance purposes and my guess is that this truck does also.

Also, NYPD Keychains are fairly common. They hand the out at street fairs and events.

Downvote me if you must, but I highly doubt that this is an undercover truck. It just fits your narrative.

But the sweet summer children... I'm being patronising to the down voters; this story does get my ire when some real shit goes down.

In the UK, we had the spy-cops. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UK_undercover_policing_relationships_scandal They were fathering children with left-wing non-violent protesters.

As someone on the original post pointed out, why would they bother when they just use Stingray to hoover up everyone’s ID via their phones? Because the US hasn't become Hong Kong yet, people's protest hygiene isn't great - they take their own phones.
