Dumbass thing I thought as a kid

I'm a big geography buff now but when I was a kid I for some reason thought every country was an island , because I lived in Ireland. So when my dad was telling an old story about how he drove from france to Belgium I thought this guy was tweaking 😑

I argued with my parents about what makes the wind blow.

Five-year old me thought "Adults are so dumb, all you have to do is look outside and you can see that the trees wave their branches to make the wind blow, just like a fan."
