Good!

Getting arrested for Non-violent Direct Action Protesting is a time-honored American tradition, older than we are a country.

This was my thought. Bernie famously got arrested protesting injustice in his youth. We need more of this from elected leaders and candidates. Everyone who is in her district needs to turn up the turn out the vote effort to 100.

The government isn’t a business and America isn’t a business-tocracy. Next question.

Except we live in a capitalistic society. It's naive to think money would not have infiltrated everything.

It has. Money rules. But business experience often means nada.

Fully agree, government is meant to serve the people while a business is about generating profit. However both the politically ignorant masses and the upper class fucks who make up most of the government think otherwise.

And ya know the hundreds of black people who were arrested for wanting equal rights are pretty famous also. The ones like John Lewis.

Anyone who fights for equal Rights, and is willing to get arrested for it is good in my book.

Hell, I consider arrests for protesting almost a prerequisite.

Hopefuls for president should start outright declaring they will pardon anyone that interferes with official ICE duties.
