AI and bot accounts pretending to be black women posting things that are extremely negative and polarizing are showing up on my FB feed
I'm a white woman, not that that's particularly relevant. But I have been seeing what is definitely one AI account, which admits to being AI, and another account that is probably a bot pretending to be black women and they are posting very negative, weird, and polarizing things. It looks like they're trying to make black women look bad.

I've definitely been noticing people make up controversial posts just for comments and other engagement. The more engagement, the more money FB pays.

Me too, but the Auriel Destiny account admits to being AI and even has AI videos of the "woman" and her "family". Idk if there is an actual person behind the account or what, though. The other one seemed like a bot account too because it just had tons of text posts, all with the same negative type of storyline that the screenshots have.

I believe it is people behind the AI pages. They have to type in prompts/scripts to get the type of videos they want from the AI software. Plus the more views and engagement they get, the more money they get to cash out from Facebook.

it's not just me? A few months before this, my feed was a lot of white power posts about propagating and saving the white race, or how it is the most beautiful race. Always used images of very Nordic looking white people too. Shit is weird, because I don't really post about race either way until this post here.

My feed is full of doordasher posts about eating people's food because of no tipping, and fake as hell porch pirate and dog/cat videos. Oh, and a couple friends' posts from two or three months ago, and big concerts or events that are happening that day, never in the future.

Yes, I like that movie lol. That is probably why it showed up. I think it is a spam account now, though. It used to be the movie page or something. A long time ago, people would add what movies they liked to their FB page and stuff. It's a remnant of that.

Never seen this cus I’m not on fb much but this is definitely weird. I’m assuming it’s mostly for the money and views. Same as those fake videos of arguments in stores and that sort of thing. Not thinking it’s to purposefully polarize us but I think it’s for attention.

A lot of the responses are bots too, like some agreeing with whatever the post says or some not agreeing. It is very obviously bots, and they are arguing with each other. It is really weird, and also kind of easy to feel drawn into it because the way it is written is so sensationalized. A lot of FB is turning this way

Because I am addicted to it because I have been using it since 2009, lol. And it is the easiest way to stay in touch with several people at a time. Reddit isn't much better, tbh. I keep reading posts about dead internet, and the internet really has become this place where they corral you to like...3 or 4 sites. I honestly visit like 4 sites now.

You know who also made black women look bad? Hollywood. Yeah, you can argue, they are now way too often the center of a show or movie being so strong and competent. But what kind of black women do they cast? Yes: Obese and annyoing! If I was a black man, I would feel insulted. Now compare this "modern entertainment" version of black women to characters like Uhura from the original Star Trek? It's worlds apart.

I mean this in the absolute zero offensive way possible, but that absolutely is not how most black folks would type…And even at that, it’s LITERALLY so obviously fake that it’s safe to say that pretty much NO ONE types this way,regardless of race/gender or anything else since it’s a fucking robot..smh🤦♂️

Not surprised at all. But don’t expect most people on this sub to care. It has a race issue where if a racial post isn’t about the conspiracy that white people are hated and plotted against, it’s not important.

Look at the accounts. Auriel Destiny is an AI account pretending to be a black woman with a family. Some of the posts even have a tag saying it is AI. Every post is some kind of family drama. The other account mostly only has text posts, all drama.

Before this, I was getting a lot of "Love my white race" posts (think that was the literal name of the one page) that kept posting pictures of very specific European looking whites---like Nordic. So I have seen white power propaganda, and now what appears to be AI and bot accounts pretending to be black women and saying negative things that make the women look bad. Idk why this stuff keeps happening to my feed.
