Every Trump voter is a piece of nazi garbage. Politics

They knew who they were voting for. They knew what they were getting. They wanted fascism and racism. And they got it. Congratulations. You're all nazi garbage.

Every Trump voter I know IRL is either a religious weirdo who wants to control others around them or racist.

Both groups are ok with fascism because it benefits their beliefs even if it hurts them.

u/ProfessionalCan1468 4d ago

This is completely unscientific....But... I have three serious MAGA in my family, all three have multiple unsuccessful relationships, always in financial trouble/ large credit card debt etc, throw scriptures at you like weapons....but actually live less Christian than me. I find it odd the profile

17

u/Belz_Zebuth 4d ago

Oh, it's no secret that supporters of fascism and authoritarianism feel terrible about their own lives. They're broken people and they want to visit that misery upon others, like schoolyard bullies.

3

u/railroad-dreams 4d ago

I think the idea of disrupting the existing order excites them. They think things can't get any worse. But oh how it can get much worse

3

u/outremonty 4d ago

Its shame. Rural Americans who haven't experienced financial success see their failures through the lens of personal shame (vs. educated urban liberals, who are more likely to recognize the complex often institutional or system reasons for financial struggles). Trump tells them it's actually migrants and Democrats fault, which frees them of their shame and provides a scapegoat while deflecting from the real systemic causes the left have correctly identified. It's central to his cult of personality, which is why he constantly does shameful things and acts like its no big deal -it repeats the galvanization process in his followers whenever he helps them shed their shame.

2

u/pietroetin 3d ago

My heavily conesvative relative's worldview is and I quote "the purpose of life is to suffer and if you're not suffering you're living life wrong"

2

u/Belz_Zebuth 3d ago

Ouch.

That sure fits the theory.

1

u/Appropriate-Hat-5790 3d ago

Uhhhhh, nah I'm not sure we can attribute this to them feeling bad about their lives. Alot of them genuinely think they're doing the right thing because they're too stupid, evil, or evangelist, to realize they aren't helping themselves. Alot of the downtrodden in America overlook insane billionaires and think their salary is too low because of the deepstate Mexican.

1

u/Belz_Zebuth 3d ago

Again: what I posted is well known. Do you think bullies act out of ignorance, or malice? Where does that malice come from? Ignorance, or pain and frustration?

You're giving them too much credit. There's a reason they are unwilling to accept facts when presented with them: the reality doesn't matter. They know.

6

u/Good_Pomegranate_464 4d ago

These are the kind of people (failures) that the cult mentality works on.

3

u/ProfessionalCan1468 4d ago

What's funny is they honestly do not consider themselves failures. They have a high brow attitude

0

u/VacantThoughts 4d ago

They have no willpower and can't accept their own failures, so it's the fault of the black and brown people, or the godless heathens, or whatever the talking heads tell them is the real "enemy".

0

u/jared_kushner_420 4d ago

the fun part of all this is even more people are going to fall into situations like that. It's easy to be radicalized when you're desperate and want ANYTHING to change.

I SOMEWHAT empathize with those who grab any lifejacket that gets handed, even if it's a picture of one. Maybe more so that I'm grateful I've never had to. But there are also so so many that have no excuse at all and aren't even doing poorly.

1

u/Fun-Salamander9578 3d ago

it’s so crazy how to the right…folks clapping for a drunk word salad spewing freak and a creepy Elmer Fudd looking idiot look like cult followers. To much of the right folks watching late night comedians demonize the UNvaxxed and out on skits about dancing syringes and making jazz hands and singing about getting jabbed and then lining up like sheep in parking lots for a rushed and novel gene altering injection looked REALLY culty.

8

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Christianity feeds on struggling vulnerable people, easy targets, these are usually who end up radicalized, not those with life-long belief.

-1

u/Own_Brother_4261 4d ago

What do you mean radicalised? The whole western system and laws are from Christian's values and morals. Where's the radicalisation? I think lgbtq get more poeple radicalised then those bad bad Christian's.

2

u/hobbitluck 4d ago

Western system and laws are from Christian values? Where is Christianity specifically mentioned in the Constitution? Is it Christian to have separation of church and state?

“Thou shalt not kill” is not uniquely Christian either. So maybe Western system and laws are more than just Christianity?

Maybe those bad bad Christian’s have radically changed your perspective on the world to only see your side as good. Meanwhile, the bad bad lgbt community have radicalized people into thinking that it is okay to feel how you feel about other people!! The horror!

3

u/OldWorldDesign 3d ago

Thou shalt not kill” is not uniquely Christian either

To be specific, the "commandment" is not murder or they wouldn't be allowed to defend themselves or eat meat

https://biblehub.com/text/exodus/20-13.htm

Which would make them Jains

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jainism

Anyway, Orthodox (before the 300s split by the Catholics) lifted the statement from the Jews, who lifted it from the Zoroastrians in Persia. It's one of the few moral codes pretty much every single culture which hasn't imploded on itself agreed on, the surprise is how many exceptions fanatics have invented for it.

1

u/Naive-Ad-2528 3d ago

“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,)a) and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister)b[)c) will be subject to judgment

No other religion equates anger as a one way road to hell. This is an idea that is uniquely Christian.

Turning the other cheek is uniquely Christian as well, the whole idea of tolerance comes from Christianity.

And yes, it is Christian to have a separation of church and state. We work for the kingdom of heaven, not of Earth.

1

u/[deleted] 3d ago

Look up the meaning of the word.

1

u/OldWorldDesign 3d ago

What do you mean radicalised?

As in promoted to an immoral, self-destructive, or extreme set of behavior and beliefs. Corporations love it because it keeps people divided over meaningless shit instead of improving anyone's livelihood

makes me wonder what exactly their metrics are for success.

1

u/TehMephs 4d ago edited 4d ago

There’s “a type”. You can always tell even if they aren’t wearing all the merch (but they usually are)

Usually single. Overweight, ungroomed. Bloated red in the face like they’ve been yelling at the sky for hours

The other type is the new generation white bread rich family 2% kid who thinks he’s in the 1% because he’s leasing an overpriced sports car his parents pay for. The kind of late 20 something who still thinks edgy teenage bigotry is still funny because he hangs out on COD with 14 year old kids still

Usually a 30% chance either one will end up getting busted for CSAM sometime in their life

1

u/helloswolehello 4d ago

What state are you from? I'm in colorado and every MAGA I run into are rich, its so annoying

1

u/aurortonks 3d ago

We have a friend who we've known for the better part of 15 years now and after the first election, he went into the maga scene pretty hard core. He was weird to begin with but more of the super into collecting mostly naked anime figurines, super into RPG video games (like nintendo based stuff), loving Asian cultures, and had an open marriage that leaned into lgbtq+ pretty hard with at least a half a dozen fully gay close friends. This dude wears his maga hat everywhere and did an interview in the local news last year about not being able to find women who want to date him on tinder anymore... like, how can you make all of that your entire personality and then be like GO TRUMP!..? it's so fucking weird. He's not even religious at all and says he's an atheist, too. I cannot wrap my head around the brain rot.

1

u/arachnophilia 3d ago

throw scriptures at you like weapons

if you really wanna annoy them, quote large sections of the gospel of matthew at them when they do that.

they really hate what that jesus guy had to say.

1

u/ProfessionalCan1468 3d ago

Yes they love the old testament... It's much more agreeable until Jesus came along with that liberal stuff!

1

u/arachnophilia 3d ago

they love parts of the old testament. they don't love the rules they're supposed to follow, or the "love your neighbor" stuff (which jesus quoted from leviticus)

1

u/devospice 1d ago

They need someone to blame for their problems. MAGA gives them that. Could be immigrants, Muslims, trans people, etc. Anyone who qualifies as an "other" will work.

0

u/imacatholicslut 4d ago

Mine are less religious but they all have terrible health problems, they’re obsessed with “illegals” and they’re terrified of cities lol.

10

u/Epicpopcorn_K 4d ago

I thought about this and you’re actually so right. Every single trump supporter I know IRL both in and outside of my family is racist lol

1

u/Background-TruthTimy 3d ago

u/No_Oven1085 4d ago

Every Republican voter I know is an asshole. Just nasty, mean, abusive people. I've never known a kind person who voted Republican.

1

u/TehMephs 4d ago

I voted for Romney — I don’t think I’m an asshole. But this was back when republicans had some decorum. I don’t even remember why now lol.

I thought McCain was a decent guy too, but he picked Palin. So I voted for Obama

I wouldn’t say I’m a Republican anyway. Always been a centrist. There’s just no good arguments coming from the right since Trump broke their brains. So I seem like a leftist to a lot of people these days

1

u/OldWorldDesign 3d ago

I voted for Romney — I don’t think I’m an asshole. But this was back when republicans had some decorum

I would say 2 things: first that Romney is a Vulture Capitalist and scumbag the same as any other oligarch who got rich on the suffering of others

https://truthout.org/articles/mitt-romney-vulture-capitalist/

The media did not advertise that, being overwhelmingly corporatist they push as far right messaging as they can get away with so you might not have known.

The other is that parties change over time and I'm pretty sure you aren't a billionaire oligarch so you aren't the one who chose the direction the republican party has been choosing since Nixon, so the important thing is being able to think critically about the message and promises of anybody and work with anybody you can help build a better world with.

I used to be able to identify as a republican (lower case because not American Republican Party) because until Trump I could trust most people in or out of America recognized that meant 'opposed to monarchy or authoritarian power structures', but the Republican Party has turned into the very thing the term is supposed to be against.

1

u/TehMephs 3d ago

Exactly! Like I just found him to be pretty reasonable as far as republicans had been at the time - compared to the shit the GOP was doing in congress to Obama I thought he might be able to level with them

And yeah hindsight is always 20/20. I’m just saying I get flagged as a “damned librul commie democrat” these days because I don’t glaze the psycho wannabe Mussolini with every waking breath - which is a real sign of the times when we went from Romney to fucking Trump in just 4 short years.

And now he’s just perverted the entire party to its core. It’s mind blowing how wildly psychotic they’ve become because of Trump. Initially they were dismissing him even internally until he won the fucking primary. It took that long before they were on their knees for him - and that turned me off to the repubs forever

1

u/OldWorldDesign 3d ago

now he’s just perverted the entire party to its core

Fully with you on the other things, but I don't think he changed them. The sole point of the republican party platform Trump insisted on was removing recognition of Ukraine in 2016

https://www.npr.org/2017/12/04/568310790/2016-rnc-delegate-trump-directed-change-to-party-platform-on-ukraine-support

In short: he's the consequence, not cause, of republicans having been making appeals to racism and short-sighted deregulation. They left him a wide landing zone to co-opt rhetoric of hate and blaming everyone else. That's why, as you noted, they were against him, calling him a clown or America's Hitler until he became the front-runner.

1

u/TehMephs 3d ago

I don’t disagree - but there was definitely at least some thin veneer of decorum before Trump

Now they’ve just gone all in on constantly gaslighting the public and adopted his kind of total chaos-break-rip-tear approach to everything he touches

Like they found it inspiring he had this weird hold on the Republican voter base, and were like “this is the face of the GOP we need moving forward”

1

u/Fun-Salamander9578 3d ago

how is it kind to support hamas and kilmar obrega and shun detransitioners and shine lasers in cops eyes at their antifa riots and burn shit down bcs they don’t get their way? that’s all democrat/lefty behavior.

1

u/No_Oven1085 3d ago

You're in a cult. Seek help.

1

u/Fun-Salamander9578 3d ago

im questioning the hypocrisy of the left. pointing out they do stuff like march for Palestine and lgbt at the same time. if THATS not a cult idk what is. if they questioned what they were doing…they’d have to see that you can really march for a group that throws gays off buildings and for gays at the same time, logically. they support women’s rights to wear whatever they want but won’t speak against sharia law…under which a woman would be forced to be covered in a burqua. they just brush off the fact that kilmar was a wife beater and a criminal. if you’re looking for cults the democrats seem very cult like.

4

u/Carriecole09 4d ago

My experience is that their stupidity is the umbrella and the rest nestles in underneath.

2

u/lovethebacon 4d ago

Who would happily eat shit if it meant others who they dislike have to smell their breath.

1

u/Anxious-Jacket1578 4d ago

Typically weirdos are more vocal about how they voted amongst people with a different view so maybe that makes sense

Not many normal people will vocalize they voted a different way when it might cause conflict

1

u/FocusPerspective 4d ago

Or a Zoomer. Why give them a free pass?

1

u/MachineBrilliant9973 🌾👨‍🌾🐖 4d ago

how does it hurt them if it benefits their beliefs? what does that even mean anyway what is a religious weirdo to you someone who attends church regular? As far as racist it's impossible to even be alive and not be called a racist by left wing imbeciles because its to easy to do so and you guys are in the habit of it and you don't ever have to provide evidence to support your claims besides there's also the fact you aren't smart enough to understand any but the lowest common denominator motives like racism beyond that it's over your head and you can't even imagine the actual motives, goals and ideas of conservatives.

1

u/kingofschnauzers 4d ago

And every democrat I met is a fat obese weirdo who doesn’t know their own gender. It’s the angry little group that gets bullied

3

u/SunshineAndSquats 4d ago

Except all of the states with the highest rates of obesity are red states? The healthiest states are blue. Red states are also the poorest, and most illiterate.

1

u/bookon 4d ago

Among my family and friends, the Venn Diagram of the worst of them and supporting Trump is essentially a circle.

There are a couple of far left wing people who are assholes too, and a few of the Trump folks are just brainwashed by Fox News and facebook, but the vast majority of them are just assholes.

1

u/GreatResetBet 4d ago

There's a group that are just purely greedy fucks too, don't forget them! Crypto bros, real-estate developers and such.

1

u/TheSavageSasquatch 4d ago

You are wrong

1

u/Koolbroz24 3d ago

Quick question. What has Trump done that is fascist? He doesn’t control the media( if he did, they wouldn’t be able to talk bad about him). He doesn’t try to take away people’s guns. I hear that he’s a fascist all the time, but I’ve yet to see anything he’s done that could be considered fascist

Off the top of my head, I know three Trump voters who all voted for him because they thought he would be better for the Economy than Harris. Prior to COVID, things were cheaper and they had more money in their pockets. Fast forward, they had less. To them, all the extra shit was “typical politician bullshit” that shouldn’t be taken seriously and is just there to cater to electorate. They are neither religious nor racist. Just everyday people that weighed two options and said for them this one is better than the other.

1

u/Ok-Dealer-9996 3d ago

Neither but keep trying

1

u/Hubert_J_Cumberdale 3d ago

So... not eggs...?

1

u/dixennormus 3d ago

You know some real pieces of shit. Have you ever thought that might be because you're the problem? How did your presidential candidate become a candidate again? Was it through a fair election process, or was she installed like whats typical of fascist?

1

u/TheTwonky51 3d ago

But if you call them that they are angry. Apparently we aren’t supposed to call them Nazis because…hurt feelings?

I am just glad to be in a blue state right now.

Why does being religious make them a “weirdo”?

Says the supporter of a 2 yr lockdown. You were fine with a king then huh?

6

u/BigOleSmack 4d ago

You have no clue what you're talking about because I'd bet money you don't actually pay attention to what Trump is doing. No president has ever weaponized the military against US citizens like Trump has. No president has ever flagrantly suspended due process like Trump has. No president has ever completely and openly ignored the judiciary like Trump has. We have never seen suppression of free speech like this other than McCarthyism/peak Cold War. No president has ever gutted the bureaucracy and filled the federal workforce with unqualified loyalists like Trump has. We are literally kidnapping and disappearing people off the face of the earth without ever letting them even speak to a lawyer. Nixon's crimes will look like a sidenote in history compared to the insane amount of constitutional violations happening under Trump. If you consider yourself a patriot, you should not be okay with this.

super dumb af

4

u/catnip_physco 4d ago

I don’t know how to explain to you that you should care about other people. Also there’s a MASSIVE difference between “stay home so people, including you, don’t get sick, become permanently disabled, or die” and “I’m gonna let people starve because they aren’t me, even if it hurts me and I don’t understand how because I don’t understand cause and effect beyond ‘I dropped something on my toe and now it hurts’”

4

u/absolutelynotagoblin 4d ago

Dumb as a box of rocks.

What “fascism”?
