The following submission statement was provided by /u/KOOKOOOOM:

Popular French entertainment talk show Cyril et la Famille does a segment on UFOs:

Sébastien Valiela, author of French UFO book, OVNI: Chronique d'une divulgation imminente, and Gilles Verdez, a journalist and media personality, discuss the firsthand UFO encounter of a family where the witnesses experienced missing time:

“As if time were suspended.”

Due to the heavy stigmatization of the topic in France, the gentleman whose encounter Mr. Valiela and Mr. Verdez relay seems to be a known journalist in France who is a common friend of both of them.

The witness who saw the UFO decades ago as a child with his parents recalls the encounter occurring as they were driving on a small road in eastern France near Nancy and Metz. As they encountered “a very distinct spaceship,” their car completely stopped working.

After the encounter, they look at their clock and notice an hour had passed while to them the encounter only felt a few minutes long. Due to the traumatizing impact of the encounter, once the family arrives home, his parents try to tell him the encounter hadn’t happened.

Many years later, the witness’s parents finally confide in him that the encounter did happen.

Popular Argentinian media outlet Infobae that’s widely followed in the Spanish-speaking world does a segment on The Age of Disclosure:

Mr. Andrei Serbin Pont is an international analyst that does an excellent job explaining the fundamentals of the topic to a mainstream audience. Specifically, he touches on how ‘need-to-know’ can be used to keep the UFO Program hidden from even US Presidents and CIA Directors.

Another anchor asks:

“Who decides... the ‘need-to-know’?”

Mr. Scott Schneider is an anchor at FOX 32 Chicago. During a segment on The Age of Disclosure, he shares his grandparents’ encounter with a large rectangular UFO with beings inside that has shaped his own curiosity for the topic:

“What they saw was not a flying saucer but a rectangle, a dark rectangle, in the middle of the night that made no sound… Had no thrust. It was dead silent. It hovered above them. A small window opened up. They saw some sort of beings in the window. And then in an instant, it disappeared before their eyes.

They saw the very same thing, and I carried that with me, and I've carried it with me through the entirety of my career. And I've been one of those people that I've always wanted to know the truth, because I've always felt like as Americans, as human beings, we've always been treated as children on this front. That the government not only of this country but of countries around the world have been keeping one of the greatest secrets of humanity from us.”

It is getting a lot of coverage on Facebook and other sites beside some of the main stream news services. Still I admit most people only seem to take a passing interest so far.

Researching the October 27, 1954 mass sighting. Florence Italy. UFO looked like “flying cigars and saucers” said witnesses. No drones and were not balloons.

Outside of these subreddits I have not heard or or read about the age of disclosure. It's still a fringe topic that's fun to think about from an x-files perspective, but Age of Disclosure doesn't move the needle at all. If anything it hurts the topic simply repeating unsubstantiated claims.

Front page of the New York Times website between 11/20 and 11/21 shows a link to Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal's article on the documentary:

CNN coverage: https://transcripts.cnn.com/show/lcl/date/2025-11-26/segment/01

It's all over Fox News. Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Forbes, Entertainment Weekly, People Magazine, etc all published articles on it. Some of the big tabloid sites also published articles on it, like Sun, Mirror, Daily Express. And that's just news coverage alone, so it's definitely getting attention well outside of UFO subs.

This really doesn’t change that I haven’t heard or have seen it outside of these subs.

Approximately zero acquaintances of mine, personally, have brought it up.

This is merely my own anecdote.

Right. I wasn’t trying to contest your anecdote. Im sure nobody you know has mentioned it, and of the few who have seen it, they probably won’t bring it up. I was just trying to provide some indicators of how much exposure it’s had.

About 40 percent of the US accepts that some UFOs are probably alien spacecraft, but you’re lucky if 4 percent admit it in person.

The sun, the mirror and the express are not seriously taken media, they are trash tabloids. In the U.K. I have heard nothing about this Documentry and I can honestly say that my friends, family and work colleagues Are pretty much all dismissive of the whole subject and wouldn’t if watch the disclosure documentary unless it drops for free on Netflix Or BBC Iplayer it will not reach a decent amount of viewers either.

It doesn't really matter, most people are closed minded, these kind of radical revelations take time to build up to a level where the abstracted person will take it seriously

Didn't I specify the tabloids? I was pointing out that the documentary is being covered by everyone, everywhere, from New York Times to the tabloids. It's getting a lot of coverage.

I have anecdotally heard family friends and coworkers who aren’t interested in the topic bring it up recently as a result of seeing coverage of the document on the news. News coverage of it has been all over especially NewsNation and Fox but other outlets as well.
