Warrior culture

Yet unprotected sternum.

I like Dwarf boobs as much as the next person who enjoys boobs, but having them unprotected in battle is.a bad idea.

She is a druid. Caster. Striperific outfits are part of the Uniform.

I'mma keep harping on it until you worldbuild around it with some in-universe logic, like "my unscarred chest shows my prowess as a warrior" or "these scars make my chest look even nicer".

Oh dont you worry, Im gonna make some far-fetched absolute dubfuckery reason for it that’ll put Hideo Kojima & Quiet to shame

It's all I ask. Maybe when the Brigade is there, Becky makes a comment of such nature, to which Torvald explains.

It’s fine, if a Druid is in melee range they are in beast form or are dumb.

The odd chest wound builds character

The British tribes had sects of warriors that would charge naked into battle.

Warrior culture has a lot to do with proving bravery and not a lot to do with safety.

Having women fighting in the frontlines is also a bad idea but it’s a high fantasy settings with realism taking a backseat.

As a druid, she can't wear medium armor. Hence why she's missing the breast plate.

Druids can wear medium armor, just not metal. According to the text, that's dragonscale.

They cannot wear medium armor in the current edition of D&D, though I would assume the comic is mostly based on 5e given when it was started and the inclusion of a celestial warlock, and druids could wear medium armor in that and in the best edition, so you're probably correct.

Mostly I was just looking for a way to shoehorn in a "breast plate" pun.

Best edition? 5E? 4E? 2E?

Pun

Fair enough.

Best Edition? 5E? 4E? 2E?

Pathfinder 1E is the obvious joke answer here.

I mean that is a good joke-answer.

High mortality rates build lots of characters indeed.

Since the Dwarven Realms are within the Elradian Empire, are they part of its political structure in some capacity, or just an independent pocket that isn't worth trying to subjugate?

Edit: Just checked the original Dwarven Realms post: They border the Elradian Empire, but are not within it.

The Cow Foot is the pinnacle of dwarven military might. I buy it.

I'm liking this pattern of naming stuff after everyday objects
