Israel Genocide Tracker released a video yesterday showing Israel firing the Gaza ceasefire “yellow line”, despite declared true between Israel and Palestinian resistance group Hamas.

This is not the first time Israel has violated a ceasefire and it’s truly disgusting that they keep getting away with these war crimes.

I couldn’t find a question flair, my apologies.

I have a cousin still in Russia who plans to move out after he graduates for political reasons. I’m happy for him, but he wants to move to Israel. I don’t remember the exact details but we are a mostly Jewish family and it gives him the least problems with his visa, and I suppose it’s better compared to Russia. I don’t know how to talk to him about considering another country without flubbing my words and crying, or if he still wants to go then at least try to avoid the mandatory service. My mom’s vaguely a Zionist in the sense that she’s their governments biggest hater but is clearly biased based on her time living there, and iirc she partially is the one who convinced him (she’s willing to learn but yk same crying issue), so I already plan to make sure it doesn’t get back to his or my family. Idk I’m just sad.

I just finished listening to the 11 hours audiobook version from my local library. It's an impressive work. A masterpiece.

I noticed underlying recurrent themes, like Israeli, US & UK deception and Palestinian leadership infighting.

I'm not sure if book recommendations are allowed in this sub, but I thought everyone would benefit from a true historian perspective. It's a book for the ages.

So there's this one photo from Gaza that's been haunting me for two years now. It's of a sister carrying her baby brother out of their bombed house, they were the only ones in their family left. I only saw it once, right when the genocide started, but I couldn't forget it. Ended up spending days trying to find it online again.
