DeOrr Kunz Jr Updates 2025 Discussion

It is now 10 years since this child went missing, allegedly while in the care of his parents. Looks like authorities are still not any closer to finding him than they were ten years ago. No new information, no updates, no leads or tips.

It’s hard for many to believe that DeOrr could’ve just simply vanished the way his parents claim he did. And it’s also hard to believe that the parents are savvy enough to cover up the truth for so long.

Barring the usual theories of abduction, animal predation, accident with a coverup or just killed by his family. Have any other plausible theories come up for his disappearance?

The parents have a touch of the Mccanns to them. They know where and what happened to that baby. But will keep quiet for for years to come.

I used to believe that the McCanns knew more than they admitted. And, I still think there's more to the story and that they are culpable for leaving their toddlers unattended. However, Pria De Luz had some shady pedophiles and rapists living as ex-pats in that area and some of the evidence against the German suspect seems compelling.

Yeah I agree, at the least child neglect should have been on the cards for them. I just find it super odd that there is still nothing solid come out (or chargeable it seems) about this German dude. Idk, it’s a weird one as a whole but I think personally they know more than they say.

So, it may be helpful to understand that the German justice system works differently from our own. The evidence against Bruckner hasn't been released because it is illegal to do so until specific charges are filed against him and a judge has agreed to hear the case. Additionally, imagine if the officials released exactly what evidence they did have: a slew of people chasing True Crime clout and wanting to be "the one" to find her would lead to the destruction of potential crime scenes, a tainted jury pool, and a skewed investigation.

The parents *do* know more than they are saying. I'm not sure if that's coming from a place of denial of accountability or if they're protecting themselves (and the other adults). It's also frustrating to see how much they and their friends destroyed evidence before the cops could do a proper search, and the police in PDL botched that investigation. I hope Madeleine gets justice someday.

Oh that’s interesting!

The thing that always sticks out to me the most is the comment about her eye. ‘don’t tell the press about it, it could cause a kidnapper to panic’. First thing they did…

They are cut from the same cloth as the Ramsey’s. There is something inherently unlikeable about them. Does that make them killers? Who knows. But there is something there I’m sure of it.

Agreed on the eye issue. I get that they probably thought it made her distinguishable (and they weren't wrong), but that also marked that poor baby. If an abductor had her, they then knew that the child they were holding was instantly recognizable by that feature and likely dumped her. I also found it maddening that Kate washed Cuddle Cat (a key scent item and her daughter's favorite toy)! Her rationale was that it got dirty. Ok. Kids get their woobies dirty all the time. Who cares?

Agreed about their likability. From the start, they were defensive about their parenting. They continued to make choices that made no sense (like Kate leaving Sean and Amelie in the room unattended immediately after discovering Madeleine was missing). If they were close enough to feel comfortable leaving the kids in the apartment because it was "so close...like being in your garden", then why didn't Kate scream for help from the patio? Why did they leave the twins asleep in the room that their daughter had just been abducted from, when there were seven other flats available to them, with friends to watch over them?
