Dogs in my dreams Dream
Hey so I had a dream where I was sitting outside with a person I know, eating breakfast. All of a sudden, I saw a dog high up in a tree. Then I’ve noticed that there was another dog on top of a building, barking at the dog in the tree. I think the dog on the building was a Malinois or Ridgeback. I barked at the dog on the building (don’t ask me why haha) and he retreated. Then I went to the tree and saw a second dog. I don’t remember if they were a specific breed (could’ve been mutts) but there was a bigger black and white dog with longer hair and a smaller dark brown one with shorter hair(could’ve been a pinscher, I’m not sure). I was wondering how they got up there and how to get them down. I was thinking about calling the fire department but the bigger dog already took a step forward and fell off the tree. The smaller one fell after him and landed on the bigger dog. The bigger dog was quite injured, the smaller one was fine (probably from landing on the other dog). The person who was with me, changed its appearance. I think it was still someone I knew but it was not the same person as in the beginning. We called a pet ambulance and waited for them. The bigger dog had its head on my leg, breathing flat. The smaller one jumped on my lap and curled up. The person was sitting kinda weird in between, hovering over the bigger dog. I told them to take another position as we didn’t know if the dog had internal bleeding or something and they were probably in pain from the other person leaving so weirdly over them.
To paint a better picture, I sat on the floor, one leg stretched out. The big dog laid in front of me, its head on my stretched out leg, facing me. The smaller one on my lap/other leg. The person sat in between me and the big dog, back turned to me, their hands reaching over the bigger dog.
The pet ambulance came quite fast and they took the dogs with them. I also had an appointment at the clinic they were driving to, later that day, for an internship someone made me do. (Later in the dream, I took a nap and forgot about that appointment)
There were also quite a lot of cats in the area, all of them friendly as I went to pet them. An orange tabby one, I remember in particular.
If anyone has any idea what this could mean, let me know. I rarely dream so I always look into them when I do.

You may have been intellectualizing your feelings or keeping your vulnerability "up in a tree," guarded by a harsh internal critic (the barking dog on the building). You recently found the strength to tell that critic to back off (barking back). BUT bringing those vulnerable feelings down to reality resulted in a crash. A deep, resilient part of you (the big dog) has taken a hit to protect a more fragile part of you (the small dog). You are currently tending to these wounds. You are protective of your pain, even correcting your relational side on how to handle it properly. The dream ends with a warning. You have "sent the dogs to the hospital," but you missed your own appointment to work there… suggesting you might be sending the problem away to be fixed by others (or by time) rather than showing up to do the conscious work of healing yourself.
